Fair Play Announcement (July 30th, 2025 – August 25th, 2025)

[p]Dear Metas,[/p][p] [/p][p]From July 30th to August 25th, Once Human banned a total of 781 Players. This includes 540 players penalized for cheating, 118 accounts suspended for alt-account exploitation and linked violations, 123 players penalized for malicious interference.[/p][p]Recently, we've received many questions concerning recent account bans for wall-clipping exploits in RaidZone mode. Hence, we wanted to take this chance to provide some clarification.[/p][p]Our backend data indicates that some players have been exploiting a flaw in our building models to perform wall-clipping actions, including passing through walls at certain corners or shooting through walls.[/p][p]Our anti-cheat system uses a combination of AI detection and human review. As our AI model is still being refined, a small number of innocent players were mistakenly penalized. For example, due to an edge case in the detection algorithm, some players were incorrectly penalized for using Shattered Maiden. This issue has been fixed in the August 28 update, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.[/p][p]If you have any questions or objections regarding your penalty, please contact us through the in-game appeal system.[/p][p]To tackle both cheating and false positives at their root, we're implementing dedicated fixes to our building and wall models. This includes optimizing their collision logic and patching known wall-clipping exploits. We're also upgrading our AI detection model to account for each player's gameplay history and habits. This holistic approach should reduce the chance of mistaken penalties.[/p][p]If you discover any new wall-clipping exploits or other rule violations, please report them to us through the Feedback Platform or our Customer Service channels. We'll also continue to monitor this issue and make improvements as required.[/p][p]Below is a list of players recently penalized for severe violations. The accounts involved have been reviewed and confirmed to be in violation. For any questions, please contact in-game customer support.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]1. Language violations[/p][p]From July 30th to August 25th, 2025, a total of 2,681 players received bans of varying durations for language violations:[/p][p]30 days — 87 players[/p][p]7 days — 167 players[/p][p]1 day —  1,273 players[/p][p]2 hours — 644 players[/p][p](Due to space limitations, we do not provide the list of players banned for speech violations.)[/p][p] [/p][p]We've been paying close attention to feedback regarding the chat restriction system and have launched a focused optimization effort. Improvements include upgraded smart filtering to reduce false positives and better manual review processes for more accurate judgment. Notice on Handling Abnormal Mod Enhancement Levels

[p]After the maintenance on August 28, the server experienced unusual lag. During this time, we received reports that some players obtained mods with four Legendary attributes. Normally, the max enhancement level for mods is 17, so acquiring four Legendary attributes is impossible. The issue occurred because the enhancement attempt limit was not applied correctly during the server instability. As a result, we will roll back affected mods (including those with four Legendary attributes and others created through the bug). Details on this process will be shared in a later announcement. Development Update | Update Preview: August Balance Adjustments

[p]Dear Metas,[/p][p]Every month, we implement new balance adjustments to improve Once Human's combat experience. In the August 28 update, our main focus is optimizing the Frost Vortex keyword effect. We'll also adjust the strength of some weapon blueprints, while buffing the Deviations: Polar Jelly and Lonewolf's Whisper.[/p][p][/p][h3]I. Frost Vortex Optimizations and Blueprint Effect Adjustments[/h3][p]We've noticed that the Frost Vortex keyword effect isn't performing as intended in some situations for the following reasons:[/p][p]1. It doesn't generate vortexes in optimal locations.[/p][p]2. The damage is delayed and has slow damage build-up, requiring multiple vortexes to deal maximum damage.[/p][p]To resolve these issues, we are optimizing the Frost Vortex keyword effect as follows:[/p][p]1. Optimize the locations where vortexes are generated so they're more likely to hit enemies or Deviants.[/p][p]2. Reduce the damage delay, shortening the interval between generation and dealing damage.[/p][p]3. Increase the damage of a single vortex. A single vortex will be able to deal more damage than three vortexes did previously. To compensate, we will slightly reduce the chance of triggering a vortex with Frost Vortex weapons. This change will enhance Frost Vortex's overall damage and damage build-up speed.[/p][p]We will also adjust Frost weapons and gear to improve the experience of using Frost builds.[/p][p]The changes are as follows:[/p]
