Once Human Version 1.3.2 Update Announcement

Dear Metas,

We're planning a server maintenance and update on November 20 at 8:00 PM (PST). The maintenance is expected to last about 4 hours. Please plan your game time accordingly for the best experience.
Since Once Human's official launch, we've been closely monitoring community feedback and working on fixes and optimizations.
This update includes a new scenario sign-up system, many optimizations, and new items in the Shop.
Below are the details of this update.
New Feature
Scenario Sign-Up System 2.0
Version 2.0 of our scenario sign-up system will go live after the November 21 update. This update brings new features such as pre-registration, faction balance mechanisms, and team sign-ups, as per the image below.

For more details, refer to the Scenario Sign-up System 2.0 Update Announcement.
To prepare for the launch of version 2.0 of the scenario sign-up system, the following adjustments have been made:
1.On November 21, we will open at least one server per scenario in all regions. Players can join the new servers using the new sign-up system, which works the same way as joining with the old system.
2.If the server for a scenario becomes full too quickly, we will promptly add more servers and make an official announcement.
3.On November 21, we will also begin the first round of scenario pre-registrations in all regions. Each scenario will operate on a different schedule, so please take note of the sign-up deadline and opening time when making your decision.
Event Updates
Gather Friends Permanent Event and Optimizations

To make it easier for you to play with your friends, the Gather Friends system will now be permanently available, and its rewards will refresh periodically. The current period will run from after the maintenance on November 21, 2024, to February 26, 2025.
The following optimizations have been made to the Gather Friends system:
1. If you and your friend join the same server, you will be able to share more weapons and gear to help them progress in the game.
2) Friendship Journey: Earn the requisite number of Friendship Points during the current period to unlock the corresponding rewards, including limited-edition cosmetics (namecards and themes).
Invite your friends to play Once Human with you now!
* For this event, you can invite new or existing players who have not logged in to Once Human for at least 14 days.
Optimizations
Construction
1. Added grid alignment functionality to walls, roofs, and furniture surfaces.
2. Optimized the placement calculation rules in Construction mode.
Previous: Select the building you want to place, then move the cursor to the target location. A placement that meets the snapping and load requirements is recommended based on the target and the direction of the cursor movement.
Now: Select the building you want to place, then move the cursor to the target location. If snapping and load requirements are met, the building can be placed; if not, the indicator will be red and warning text will be displayed.
Developer Note: Many players reported that previously, buildings could only be placed if the cursor pointed to an object they could snap to, which felt clunky. Under the new rules, you just have to place a building, and it will automatically snap into place.
3. Due to changes in facility categorization, we have also changed the facility placement limits. If an existing blueprint has excess facilities, a pop-up will be shown with the following message: "Due to facility limit changes, any excess facilities in your current blueprint will be removed after construction. Please re-save your blueprint once completed!"
Category Changes:
All agricultural facilities have been merged into one category, including the Planter Box, Loamy Soil, Irrigation Facility, Grow Light, and Compost Bin.
4.Shortened the names of some structures and facilities in Construction mode.
Dungeons
1. Optimized Securement Silo - Taurus in The Way of Winter scenario.
- Changed the region access restrictions.
- Reduced the number and strength of enemies in the dungeon, and changed the spawn locations of Super Anomalies.
2. Optimized the skill warning effects of Empty House in Securement Silo - PSI. The duration of the danger zone indicator has been extended.
3. Optimized the difficulty of Securement Silo - Delta. The dungeon has been simplified and the number and density of enemies in the dungeon have been reduced.
4. Optimized the way skipping cutscenes works in multiplayer dungeons. Each player can now choose separately whether to skip or watch the cutscene.
5. Reduced the damage of the Secret Servitor's skills during its light phase.
6. Weakened the stagger effect of the Secret Servitor's lightning skill during its light phase.
7. Added a tip during the Secret Servitor's dark phase: "Quickly light up the runes to reduce the damage reduction of the Secret Servitor."
8. Changed a boss mutation that may appear in Securement Silo - EX1 in the Manibus and Evolution's Call scenarios. 'Energy Surge' has been changed to 'Berserk.'
9. Optimized the 'Winged Warriors' mutation. Its effect is now: "The boss takes 10% more DMG. When the boss's HP falls below 33%, it will summon 9 Stinger Bulbflies. The boss takes -10% DMG for each living Stinger Bulbfly on the battlefield. The mutation also no longer applies to Elite enemies in the Monolith, the HP and Attack of Stinger Bulbflies have been greatly reduced, and all Stinger Bulbflies will now die when the boss is killed."
10. Optimized the 'Careless' mutation. Its effect is now (using Pro difficulty as the example): "Enemies gain 15% HP, and take 30% more DMG from the first attack."
Eternaland
1. Added the ability to discard items in bulk from the Backpack.
2. Increased the stack limit of some materials.
3. Optimized the usability of the inter-season resource inheritance system.
4. Prism Deviations can no longer be converted into Astral Sand in the Backpack.
5. Added a mail system to Eternaland. It operates independently from the mail system on season servers.
6. Added the ability to discard or store items from all Spacetime Backpacks while in Eternaland.
Mods
1. Keyword Suffix Mod Boxes dropped in Public Crisis Events now grant a Keyword Suffix Mod Self-Selection Crate when opened with a Controller.
2. In The Way of Winter scenario, high-level Chaosweavers now drop Keyword Suffix Mod Self-Selection Crates.
3. Added the ability to search for mods by suffix or attribute. You can also now search for multiple keywords separated by spaces, and case sensitivity no longer applies.
4. On the Mods tab at the Disassembly Bench, filtering by mod rarity has been replaced with filtering by highest attribute, and sorting by attribute level has been added. This should make it easier for you to select unneeded mods in bulk.
5. Added the ability to sort the Mod Backpack by time obtained.
6. The number of mods required to unlock a mod for Mod Conversion will now be updated based on the number of corresponding mods in the Mod Backpack.
Public Crisis Events
1. Optimized the 'Dig to Hell' Public Crisis Event:
- Extended the duration of the portal that appears after the event ends.
- Increased the HP of The Scorcher when many players are present in 'Dig to Hell - High Risk.'
- After the event is upgraded to Legend, a portal that leads to the final area will appear at the event's entrance.

6. Fixed an issue where the death and turning animations of some new enemies in The Way of Winter were incorrect.
Character Controls
1. Optimized the movement speed and throwing mechanics when using telekinesis.
2. Added a 'Switch to Melee Weapon' button. Players on mobile can now easily switch to their melee weapon.
3. Optimized the responsiveness of pressing the key to enter OTS.

1. Optimized the visual effects of some Morphed Deviations.
2. Added the ability to rename Deviations. You can now give Deviations a custom name at their Securement Units.

Scenario Sign-up System 2.0 Update Announcement

Dear Metas,

Since our launch, we've been closely monitoring your scenario experience. Based on your feedback, we're introducing the all-new Scenario Sign-up System 2.0, which will go live after the November 21 update. This update will bring features such as advance registration, faction scenario sign-up, and team sign-up. Here are the details:

Advance Registration
1. You can now register in advance for the types of scenarios you want to play.
2. Each round of advance registration has two phases: a registration period and a lock-in period. After the registration period ends, the lock-in period begins. When the lock-in period concludes, servers will launch based on the number of players signed up, which will also determine the number of servers and Worlds.
3. The 24 hours before a server opens is the lock-in period. If you cancel during this time, you'll lose your advance registration spot for that round (any advance registration made after the lock-in period starts will count toward the next round). Exact server opening times are displayed in the game panel.

4. If you don't want to wait, you can also directly sign up and join scenario servers that are already open.

Faction Scenario Sign-up
1. For faction scenarios like Prismverse's Clash, you'll need to choose a faction when signing up (or be assigned one by the system).
2. Servers will decide whether to open at the scheduled time based on overall player numbers and faction balance. If conditions are met, they'll open as planned; if not enough players have signed up, the scenario may be delayed once but will definitely open after that.

Team Sign-up
1. We've added a team sign-up option. You can now invite friends to form a team. All team members' sign-up statuses will follow the team leader.
2. When a team signs up for a scenario, all members will be placed on the same server (and in the same faction, if applicable).

Scenario Co-Dev
1. To better meet the needs of players from different regions, we'll regularly release in-game surveys to gather your feedback and opinions on various scenarios.
2. If a scenario receives low overall ratings and has few participants, we may consider temporarily taking it offline and will announce it accordingly.
3. Scenarios that are taken offline will undergo targeted optimizations and will be re-released once the experience is enhanced.

These are the main updates in the Scenario Sign-up System 2.0. For detailed rules, please check in the game. If you encounter any bugs or have suggestions during your gameplay, feel free to share them through our Co-Dev Feedback Platform. We'll carefully review your input, discuss internally, and regularly update you on the progress and conclusions regarding key issues.

Version 1.3.1 Bug Fixes:November 14

Dear Metas,

Since the official release of Once Human version 1.3.1 we have been gathering community feedback and actively addressing your concerns with adjustments and fixes.

Ranching Gameplay Issues
1. Disappearing Animals
Animals may disappear when they're attacked by enemies or other units, or when they wander too far from your character. This is due to our current game design. We're optimizing related mechanics and will release a solution in a future update.
2. Animals Not Eating or Drinking
When players go offline, animals might appear to stop eating or drinking due to a glitch that causes them to get stuck. While it seems they're not consuming food or water, the resources are actually being deducted. This is due to our current game design. We've introduced a temporary fix and are working on a permanent solution to be released in a future update.

Here are the issues we have fixed:
1. Fixed an issue that prevented some blueprints from being placed in Construction Mode.
2. Fixed an issue that caused the Sunny-Side Up collection to push away the RV when placed.
3. Fixed a permission error for some players on their own Eternaland.
4. Fixed the occasional disappearance of Teleportation Tower and camp icons on the world map.
5. Fixed an issue where Public Crisis Events in the first phase of the Prismverse's Clash scenario wouldn't refresh.
6. Optimized the visual effects of the "Street Art" weapon skin.
7. Fixed missing traits on deployed Nutcrackers.
8. Fixed an issue that prevented players from completing certain side story tasks under specific conditions.
9. Fixed occasional errors when inviting friends during the Wish Land Party event.
10. Fixed an issue in The Way of Winter scenario where the disappearance of the flying monsters in Securement Silo - PSI caused progression to be blocked.
11. Adjusted the number of Teleportation Towers for Public Crisis Events from one to several to reduce lag caused by players gathering at a single Teleportation Tower.
12. Fixed an issue where players standing under elevators could be crushed by the car.
13. Fixed an issue that prevented task completion in the H37 Unstable S-Vessel event.
14. Fixed an issue where the male Doomsday Dominator top would disappear when viewed from a distance by other players.
15. Fixed an issue where the female Sailor's Spirit skirt would disappear when viewed from a distance by other players.
16. Fixed an issue in Wish Land – West and Dangling Vessel Cove where players would enter a swimming state in certain areas.
17. Fixed an issue where players would teleport to an incorrect location after leaving a dungeon, resulting in death due to area restrictions.
18. Fixed an issue where the "Intense Explosion" buff provided by Popcorn would be removed upon entering or leaving a dungeon.
19. Fixed an issue where switching between actions during shop preview caused all actions to stop and required re-entering the shop.
20. Fixed an issue where the Thermal Tower sharing permissions became invalid after the November 7 update. If you applied for permissions on November 7, please contact the tower owner to cancel and reapply. For further questions, please use the feedback platform.
21. Fixed an issue in the Secret Servitor dungeon where the light orb failed to ignite the rune when hitting the brazier for the first time.
22. Fixed an issue where defeating the Chaosweaver sometimes didn't yield loot.
23. Adjusted the following Memetic Specializations in The Way of Winter:
- Stone Structures: Intense Defense: Removed the effect that increases the Structure Limit by 100.
- Building Master: Changed the effect from "Material structures +200, furniture +100" to "Material structures +150, furniture +50."
Developer's Note: The Way of Winter servers in some regions have been facing excessive load due to the increased number of players and buildings on the map. To ensure smooth performance for players in these regions, we are temporarily adjusting the "Stone Structures: Intense Defense" and "Building Master" specializations. We're actively working on server optimizations and will restore and improve relevant specializations once the optimizations are complete. Please stay tuned for future announcements.
As compensation for this adjustment, all players will receive: Starchrom ×500, Mitsuko's Mark ×100, and Stardust Source ×200. The compensation has been sent via mail. Please check your inbox.

Stay in the loop with our bug fixes! Please find regular summaries of recent updates on our official website and Steam. For immediate daily fixes and the latest information, please head to the official Discord.

Notice on Chaosweaver Spawn Coordinates

Lately, we've received feedback from players that Chaosweavers are causing too much damage to their territories. Our intention was for random Chaosweaver spawns to create a more challenging survival experience as a core part of The Way of Winter. As their name suggests, Chaosweavers are the most dangerous enemies in the scenario, bringing extreme weather and causing immense destruction.

Chaosweavers only spawn in specific areas, so players who build their territories in these areas will likely have their territories destroyed. As a temporary solution, we have marked Chaosweaver spawn locations on The Way of Winter's map, so you can avoid building your territories near them. (Coordinate marked on the map represent all possible Chaosweaver spawn locations. However, please note that Chaosweavers will spawn at random marked locations, rather than appearing at all locations simultaneously.)

We will also make the following adjustments based on your feedback:
1. In late November, we will increase the probability of obtaining Deviations with a Deviant Energy Rating and Activity Rating of 4 to 5 after defeating a Chaosweaver. Raw Chaosium rewards will also be added.
2. In December, we will add a Chaosweaver location warning feature.
3. In December, we will add a feature that automatically returns items dropped due to Chaosweaver destruction to your Vault.

We hope these changes will help to improve your gaming experience. If you have any other suggestions, please let us know via the Co-Dev Feedback Platform!
