Russian language support will be available in September. Offering multiple languages support is also our goal of this year. Please stay tuned for further updates.

2. When will Once Human support controllers?
Once Human is scheduled to provide support for controllers in early August. Efforts are underway to ensure a seamless controller compatibility, with a focus on delivering a high-quality experience to players.

3. When will the game support key rebindings?
The implementation of key rebindings is currently in progress for the game, and it is anticipated to be available in mid-August.

4.When will ONCE HUMAN support DLSS and FSR?
A:We are working hard to implement DLSS, and we expect to bring this feature to everyone in August. Thank you for your understanding.

5. What is the plan to optimize the high memory usage and chassis overheating issues?
We are gradually optimizing and addressing these issues in stages.
A. We will optimize the game's CPU multi-threading mechanism to reduce CPU usage. We expect to release an optimization within the next week to alleviate high CPU usage and heat generation issues.
B. We will introduce DLSS/FSR/XeSS and other super-resolution technologies to reduce GPU load and alleviate heat generation in early August.

6. What is the optimization plan for the game's lagging issue?
We are analyzing the lagging issue and expect to release some optimizations soon to improve it. Please stay tuned to our community and social media for updates.
Additionally, we recommend installing the game on a solid-state drive, as this will significantly reduce loading times and alleviate lagging issues.

7. Game Crashes During Shader Compilation at Startup (Intel 13th and 14th Generation CPUs)
We have identified an issue with certain Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs (13700k, 13900k, 14700k, 14900k), where the game crashes during shader compilation at startup. If you encounter this issue, you may also experience similar problems in other games. Here are two corresponding solutions:
Option 1: Recommended by Intel:
Update the BIOS version. Players need to visit the motherboard's official website to download the update themselves.
Option 2: Try installing Intel Extreme Tuning Utility:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/17881/intel-extreme-tuning-utility-intel-xtu.html and lowering your "Performance Core Ratio" from 55x to 54x.

Thank you again for the support.

Once Human devs pledge to bring account-wide cosmetics by August, address seasonal reset concerns

The developers behind Once Human - a survival game that's seriously popping off right now - have come out and addressed some of its biggest problems. This includes character-specific cosmetics, which the company states will be transitioned to account-wide, and an acknowledgment of seasonal reset concerns.

This statement was posted on social media in a lengthy post, covering the entire process and planned fixes. This statement, public-facing and thick with community appreciation, reads as follows:

"Thank you so much for taking the time to discuss with us and provide such detailed feedback about Once Human's gameplay. We understand Metas' concerns about the mandatory seasonal resets and how they can affect your sense of progression and attachment to your character."

Once Human is the centre of a storm of data privacy concerns over a policy line about collecting government ID

Free-to-play open world survival shooter Once Human has spent its first week in the wilds weathering complaints about its data collection practices, many of them directed at a line from publisher NetEase's privacy policy in which they state that personal information they receive from you may include "government-issued ID, such as passport information, as required by applicable laws for age verification and correction of personal information".

Following a backlash in the user reviews (the game was Mostly Negative on Steam at launch, but has since risen to Mixed) and on social media, the game's developers Starry Studio have published a blog insisting that they harbour no dark intentions for your personal details - or at least, that they harbour intentions no darker than those of the many other developers who collect your personal information.

Once Human players are saying no to violence, choosing to build beautiful homes instead

Once Human players are having a blast exploring the game, taking on tense fights and pushing the open-world survival game to its limits. However there's another subset of players who are spending their time building beautiful homes to call their own.

Examples include Reddit user SykoManiax, who posted their creation on the Once Human Reddit for the community to gander at. A lushious two-story house built atop of wonderful wooden foundation. It even has a nice little suburban fence around it, allowing them to look over the neibouring river to their heart's content.

They aren't alone either! User Designated-Survivor posted their own home - this time with three floors and a balcony - to the community hub. It even has a little shed to the right, and lovely porch lights around the front. It's clear that this user has spent plenty of time on their house, moreso than their own clothes.
