Hey Townies!

The party system has arrived! Invite your friends to a party, and choose the lobby that you would like to join!

New Feature

• Added Parties!
• You can now start a Party from the home screen and invite your friends!
• The Party leader can choose which Game Mode to join together.
NOTE: Custom and Join With Code are not supported at this time, but are coming soon.

Improvements

• Role reveal screen improved to have better performance.
• Doomsayer will now get Invincible Defense the night they successfully Doom 3 players.
• Pirate will now get Invincible Defense upon winning 2 Duels.
• Veteran will now show powerful attack pips when alerting.
• Changed the Exit and Leave Game buttons in settings to be more obvious.

Bug Fixes

• Jester cannot use vest while dead anymore.
• Fixed issues with Player Log setting, Quality setting, and vSync setting not being set to your preference.
• Fixed the Powerful Defense description in the Role Card.

We got some UI improvements to clarify some things, fixed an odd chat flicker bug, and more!

Improvements

• Fixed odd flickering that occurred when a chat message is added to the chat list.
• Turned on autodisplay of patch notes.
• Friends Chat now respects the font to use based on Chat Settings.
• The Accept Game Invite confirmation dialog will now also hide the lobby code if Settings has been set to hide lobby codes.
• Added official Town of Salem 2 Discord link to settings
• Changed fullscreen/windowed mode to a dropdown from a button in settings
• Added text to near the exit game and return to home buttons in settings.
• Updated Prosecutor achievement that was not obtainable anymore after Admirer rework
• Added a generic You Died animation when your character is killed at night.
• Fixed an issue where Hosts in non-custom games could not left-click a role in the Role Deck to open the role card for review.
• Friends and Notifications sounds will no longer play when access to Friends is not allowed, such as during active games when your character is alive.

Improvements

• Replaced Coroner with a 2nd Random Town in Classic mode
• Improved special ability button to better show when it is being used
• Made Noto Sans the default font.
• Reduced the length of custom lobby names allowed
• Added "Small" Chat font size selection option in Settings popup.
• Friends chat will now respect the Chat font size setting.
• Candle wall decoration now has glow and looks lit at night
• Effect animations added to Special Abilities to make their states clearer
• Pulled some housing items away from the wall
• Flipped the coffin so the hinges always face the wall.
• Friends messaging reskinned
• Special ability explainer reskinned
• Removed tree that was blocking hangman cinematic

Bug Fixes

• If the Settings Popup has been set to Hide Lobby Codes, lobby codes will no longer be displayed in the Friends List Game Invite Notifications or in the Game Invites shown in Friends Chat popup.
• Various fixes to client exceptions.
• Fixed issue where opening the Shop redeem codes could give bad feedback
• Fixed an issue where players could not click immediately to the right of a mention to set the cursor position.
• Fixed some grammar errors.
• Fixed bug where town traitor was being revealed as coven to admirer
• fixed bug that was causing roleblocks to not properly stop Bodyguard, Cleric, Jester and Veteran special abilities from granting them increased defense
• Fixed an issue with players using Anonymous mode, then leaving the lobby and having their spot taken by another player. The new non-anon player will no longer have an Anonymous name.
