Community Event: Operation Diamond Dog

It all starts with Diamonds

The Diamond is the traditional birthstone of April and holds significant meaning for those born in that month, thought to provide the wearer with better relationships and an increase in inner strength. Wearing diamonds is purported to bring other benefits such as balance, clarity and abundance... BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THAT COMMANDER - EXTRACT WITH AS MANY BLOOD DIAMONDS AS YOU CAN.

One randomly chosen winner who shows us a screenshot of the most Blood Diamonds they have extracted in a single run of Survivor Mercs wins the temporary title "Diamond Dog" in the Wandering Wizard Discord.
Submission Rules:
• Submit a screenshot of the most Blood Diamonds you have extracted in a single run of Survivor Mercs to the Screenshots section of the Steam Forum
 • Must include the following tag in submission to be considered #DiamondDog

Patch 0.9.9f3 - Operation "Bug Squash" Continues

Commanders, Operation "Bug Squash" went into another round successfully!

Your intel was once again crucial in finding and exterminating some of these pesky bugs, thanks a lot for your support:
 • The first mission reward popup now shows up correctly again and no longer has blank icons and text.
 • Genome Lab does show the DNA and Trait category icons correctly again.
 • Fixed a few instances of missing UI background sprites.
 • The Storage Room now shows overflow correctly. The item stacks are separated to show the full amount in the upper inventory, and the overflow shows the number of items exceeding your current storage limit in the lower section. There's still one bug, see Known Issues, but we're already working on a fix for it.
 • Fixed an instance where the Genome Lab's "research" button sometimes didn't accept mouse clicks.
 • Enemies & projectiles now get destroyed when the Boss is defeated so you aren't killed by accident just after you thought you've won.
 • Potential fix for some Mercs not shooting at the Boss although they appear to be in range. We're still working on a much better system for that, so this issue may still occur sometimes.
 • All Traits correctly reset when upgrading from a pre-0.9.9 savegame. It could happen sometimes that "Minimalist" and few other Traits were still marked as "researched".
 • Added some missing translations for Chinese and German.
 • Fixed a potential crash.
 • Fixed an issue of rooms potentially switching position in your Bunker after building them.
 • Infiltrator SMG upgrades now correctly show an icon and title bar.
 • Potentially fixed the issue that your Extraction Point didn't show up after defeating a boss.
 • Fixed some missing or wrong level-up descriptions for Priest and Nubetube.
 • Improved damage detection of PhenX' "detachables", preventing potential issues of not taking damage as expected from some damage sources.

We are currently investigating some new reports, so there are some Known Issues we aim to fix as quickly as possible:
 • Selling overflow in the Storage room still has one UI issue where moving items between the "sell" panel and your inventory does not update correctly. We are working on the fix for this already.
 • In some very rare instances, mini-bosses or enemies may stop spawning during an Operation. This may persist for more than one Operation but is normally fixed after restarting the game.
 • Sometimes you do not get an Extraction Point after defeating a Boss. We may have a fix for this, but cannot confirm 100% yet since it is hard to reproduce this issue consistently.
 • The game's performance can potentially degrade heavily when playing at very high screen resolutions (UHD+) - we're currently investigating the details.
 • We had one report of Mercs being locked out of the Boss arena.
 • The Extraction Alarm sound triggers multiple times.
 • --EDIT -- "Exclude" does show x99 instead of your current number of available excludes. (we initially thought this was fixed, but somehow made it back into the game 🙄)

If you encountered any of the known issues, too, please report them in the Steam forums or on our Discord server. They are hard to track down and every detail may help solving them faster:
