Hello, stalkers! We present to your attention an important, and for some, long-awaited, update version 1.00.60.

[h2]What's new:[/h2]

☢️ We have completely revised the backpack concept. Many of you have expressed a desire to see its functionality similar to that presented in one famous game, where there are no limits on the number of slots. Your voice has been heard. However, we decided not to copy the existing mechanics but to develop our own. Now, just like in real life, you cannot place one item inside another to maintain the atmosphere of realism. This will force you to plan more carefully what and how to pack. We have also retained the ability to throw items into the backpack over the shoulder, to simplify your journey through the world and free you from the need to open it every time. Items will be automatically distributed according to the available space.


Important notice: after installing the update, when loading a saved game, all items previously placed in the old slots will be automatically transferred and sorted in the backpack. We have taken care of this in advance!

☢️ Improved mode for left-handers: We have completed the enhancement of the mode for left-handers, now changes concern not only the control of controllers but also the relocation of slots (PDA, holster, bolts, and injection bag) to a more convenient place. We know you have been waiting for this for a long time and apologize for the delay. But as they say, better late than never!

🔸 PDA interface overhaul: Now, when you pull out the PDA, you will immediately see the map, not the list of quests. Many of you have noted that this would be more convenient, and we fully agree with you.
🔸 Additional optimizations: Minor tweaks and optimizations have been made at various levels to make your journey through the Zone even smoother and more pleasant.

☢️ Trading has been added to the game. Got a lot of unnecessary rifles or bullets lying around? No problem, now you can always sell them at "The Shelter". Can't find food or the ammo you need? That's no longer an issue, of course, if you're a stalker with some money on you. At "The Shelter", you can always replenish your supplies or sell what you don't need! Factors such as wear and tear, attachments, and the presence of a collimator affect the selling price. And most importantly, where you sell it. Our shop stands can be found not only in "The Shelter" but also in some corners of The Zone. Please note that the selling and buying prices are always different, and remember, we always care about our customers. Therefore, we sell only functioning goods. You can always return the product if it doesn't suit you, according to the stalker's rights protection law, within 2 seconds from the purchase. Thank you for understanding.


☢️ A bit of loot has been added to the game. Since the game's launch, you've complained about cucumber cans lying around with nowhere to use them, now you can always sell them and earn some money. Besides that, for heaven's sake, don't steal mugs from stalkers. They are cheap, but they will have nothing to drink from during their downtime from raids. Have some conscience!

🔸 With the introduction of trading into the game, the hunger system has been reconfigured. Now, depending on the location, the impact of hunger can either increase or decrease. Keep an eye on your indicator in the wrist PDA. Importantly - just as before, in "The Shelter," hunger does not affect health.
🔸 A new indicator, price, has been added to item descriptions.
🔸 A new parameter, money, has been added to the wrist PDA. You can always check how much currency you have in your account. We're glad you chose us, "Wasteland Bank," your money is always in a safe place. Even after your death!
🔸 Some textures have also been improved in some locations.

🔸 Improved and reworked some model textures at levels. Z.O.N.A Project X was originally developed in 2014 for mobile phones, so many textures were optimized for mobile devices. I have done my best to enhance their quality for the VR platform according to my skills and capabilities.

🔸 The hunger system has been changed. In the story campaign, the impact of hunger is now reduced by 50%, and in raids by 75%. In "The Shelter," hunger is turned off so you can comfortably handle your affairs. As soon as trading and the ability to buy supplies become available, the impact of hunger will be increased.
🔸 The characteristics of food products have been revised: some now satisfy hunger better than before.
🔸 Ongoing improvements to locations. Minor changes have been made to "Neutral Base."
🔸 The "Bandit Base" location has been improved.
