To whisper another player, you must be friends with them. Use the command [c]/w [/c] in the chat box (for example, [c]/w Arami Hey there![/c]). You can also use [c]/wl [/c] to message the last player you whispered (for example, [c]/wl Hey again, Arami![/c]).[/p]
• [p]We've optimized several client-side networking systems, making the game noticeably more performant when multiple players are present in the same map.[/p]

• [p]A new quest: Brave Spelunker of the Dwarfless Mines! Barbado the dwarf needs your help exploring the abandoned tunnels beneath Old Rautala. Gear up and venture deep underground into an impressive ancient mine![/p]

• [p]We've added an experimental CRT TV filter to the game. It's there just because Lartu really wanted to have it, and it's disabled by default. You can enable it in the Graphics Settings menu. 'Give your adventures a retro twist with a brand-new (old?) CRT visual filter!'[/p]

• [p]We implemented and improved several anticheat measures to keep Aetera fair and fun for everyone (read more below!)[/p]
• [p]We've made several changes to reduce crashes, cut down on disconnects, and make gameplay smoother. We've updated the rendering backend, added new logging to help us understand what might be causing crashes and connection issues, and addressed a few problems that may have been causing bugs ever since we updated Unity back in October to fix a nasty engine vulnerability.[/p]

[p][/p][h2]Anticheat Measures[/h2]

• [p]We've spent a lot of time this release strengthening the game's protections against cheating. We can safely say that 90% of the exploits that affected the game, especially the most severe ones (including, but not limited to, instantly respawning monsters, selling anywhere, withdrawing / depositing anywhere, etc.), can no longer be abused, and we will continue addressing the remaining issues in upcoming updates. Players using modded clients or taking advantage of these exploits have been consistently banned, and going forward, they will be removed even more swiftly. We want you to know that we are taking this matter seriously. Our response may have seemed slow, but we were diligently investigating what exploits existed and how cheaters used them. We are now launching our counterattack to put an end to cheating once and for all![/p][p][/p]

• [p]We are working to improve the game's balance. We want progression to feel more rewarding as you grow stronger, and we want the experience to feel less grindy and repetitive, so we are currently testing several improvements.[/p]

• [p]We've added a Sort button to your inventory, allowing you to customize the sorting order in the Materials, General Items, and Cosmetics tabs. Depending on the tab, you can now sort items by acquire date (the current default), equipment slot, equipment tier, or alphabetically.[/p]

• [p]We've updated how cosmetics are organized to reduce confusion: the Cosmetics tab now only holds weightless cosmetics (those with a pink background). Cosmetics that do have weight (those with a white background) are now placed in your General Items tab instead, making it easier to track what's affecting your carry weight.[/p]
• [p]Introducing the Wardrobe! The old Cosmetics tab in your bank is now called the Wardrobe, and it is also accessible directly from your Inventory. Use it to store weightless cosmetics that you do not use as frequently, helping you keep your inventory clean and making it easier to organize your favorite cosmetics. Since you can access the Wardrobe from anywhere, you can change your look at any time you like![/p]

• [p]On PC and Mac, you can now use Shift + Left Click when interacting with shops, the bank, the transmog table or the upgrade menu to perform actions more quicklym such as buying, selling, depositing or withdrawing items.[/p]
