today we release a small hotfix consisting of bugfixes and stability improvements.

  • Map Generation: More stability fixes
  • Gameplay: Settler radiation no longer increases even though the settlement has sufficient protection clothing stored.
  • Gameplay: Fixed an issue were settlers will still working in buildings even though they were already dead.
  • Gameplay: Fixed settlers not being automatically assigned to buildings when growing up or being unloaded from a vehicle.
  • Savegames: Save games are now handled more memory efficient

today we release a small hotfix consisting of bugfixes and stability improvements.

  • UI: Fixed input fields of some sliders not accepting correct number of characters.
  • UI: Tooltips no longer overlap with the large map (e.g. in the Expeditions overview)
  • UI: Assigning resources to the resource bar in the HUD that are already assigned now swaps the resources.
  • UI: Fixed building construction and destruction UI not correctly reacing to the active state of the construction site.
  • UI: Fixed research goals not updating the UI correctly.
  • Vehicles: Fix for error when sending vehicles to different waypoints using shift.
  • Vehicles: Fixed a problem with the queue in vehicle workshops that made vehicles being stuck in the queue and not being produced anymore.
  • Map Generation: Fixed different errors when generating maps.
  • Gameplay: Fixed a bug with activating/deactivating production on buildings that are being upgraded
  • Audio: Stability fixes for picking the correct sector ambient.

The Early Access launch of the long-awaited sequel to Endzone - A World Apart happened about two weeks ago. Thank you to everyone who’s been playing! It’s been such a joy watching many of you share your survival experiences online. 💚

We also want to thank you for reporting bugs and submitting feedback! Developing Endzone 2 is a delicate balancing act between trying out new ideas and staying true to the original IP. 💡

While Steam reviews, the forums, and your reports have already helped us identify many issues and gain insights into your thoughts, we’d like to dive even deeper. We’re launching a new survey to help us better understand which direction this Early Access should take. We’d love for you to join and share your honest feedback!





Remember, Endzone 2 - just like its predecessor - is driven by community feedback! Your input is crucial in helping us craft the perfect mix for the post-apocalyptic city builder/colony sim we all envision. ☢️

So let get into it! The Early Access survey focuses on the following topics:

We’ve already planned the first major content update, as outlined in the ROADMAP.
You can expect an update by the end of September, and the first major content update in October, titled Let There Be Light, which will introduce electricity and… upcycling!

This has been a highly requested feature from the community, and we’ll reveal more details about these additions soon.

today we release a small hotfix consisting of bugfixes and stability improvements.

  • Expeditions: Fixed error when leaving the nuclear power plant expedition while inside the nuclear power plant.
  • System: Slightly decreased loading times.
  • System: Fixed a bug when starting a new session, while another session was already active.
  • UI: Several fixes for zone notifications and global notifications.
  • Audio: Fixed audio not updating correctly when moving the camera via minimap.
  • Gameplay: Buildings that spawn objects into the world no longer stop working (e.g. Recycling Center). This slightly reverts the performance changes from our last hotfix but we're already working on further improving the system.
  • Zone Occupation: Cancelling zone occupation now correctly removes the access point.

today we release a small hotfix consisting of bugfixes and stability improvements.

  • Vehicles: Vehicles that are still in construction are no longer fully functional when loading a save game.
  • Vehicles: Fix for vehicles being stuck (e.g. at ascents of zones).
  • Trade Routes: Fixed resource selection not setting an initial amount when selecting a resource.
  • Zone Occupation: Fix for accidentally placing the town center when clicking the access point preview to start zone occupation.
  • UI: Fix for empty menus (e.g. trade routes or vehicles).
  • Map Generation: Some improvements to road layouts fixing some wonky road situations.
  • General: UI and game stability improvements.


  • Trade Routes: Added header to trade route editor to better explain slot functionality.
  • Auto Save: Auto saving is now less intrusive. Selections will no longer be lost and build modes will no longer be cancelled.
  • Performance: First performance improvements for sessions with a lot of tree nurseries and vehicle workshops.
  • Map Generation: Significantly reduced loading times when loading or starting a new session.
