Witch is here - 6 new ways to improve your heroes (necromancy included ;) )

Play by yourself and grab a friend to play coop - check out the most significant game's Early Access update for now.

In a few words:

There are four witch huts on the map. Find magic flowers and go to the witch - there are six passive skills she can improve through the potions. Need necromancy or ancestral spirit to help? Here you are. Ever wonder about frozen or fire magic? Or maybe, a unique class ability or the possibility to use some skills without cooldowns? Look no further!

We will focus on special effects, animations, and UI improvements in the next updates.

What's next?

Hello!

Since after the early access release, we've finished the urgent tasks, worked on the game's visual style, and added the necessary effects (arrows and magical shots), it's time to move on.

We have planned several updates that are interconnected. But we will try to introduce them into the game gradually so as not to make you wait too long and receive feedback promptly. We will share our initial vision of the following updates (everything described below may change in the final version!).

A new location will appear on the map - the witch's hut. The witch will offer power-ups at different prices (discounts will significantly impact greater difficulties!). For purchases, you will need the appropriate resources that can be obtained on the map.

What skills can be taken and strengthened in the witch's hut?

[h3]The first three can be characterized as the "help of the elements."[/h3]

  • The element of fire will let you deal damage not only to targets but also to their neighbors.
  • The element of water will provide an opportunity to freeze the enemy, depriving him of the ability to move.
  • The element of death will give some chance that the defeated enemy (recall that the enemies in our game are from the army of the dead) will rise again and fight on your side.

[h3]The following three skills we tentatively call "playstyle."[/h3]

  • The first will be responsible for the "class skill." The warrior will receive bonuses for face-to-face fights. Archer, on the contrary, for damage at a distance. The mage will learn to receive a damage bonus depending on the number of enemies in his area of attack.
  • The second skill we tentatively call "leadership." Valorous paladins will be summoned from portals and fight by your side. Unlike victims of necromancy, paladins will also heal over time.
  • The third skill will also be called "Predictor"! Developing this skill will increase the chance that one of your enemies will be cursed - he will receive more damage, and you will see his plans for the move in advance. Not a bad advantage if you think about it :)


We can't wait to start putting all this into the game. We will try to show you something as soon as we have done enough to make the update meaningful.

Greetings and upcoming plans

Right now, we're busy working on the special effects. While it's not as important as the core game mechanics, adding special effects can significantly increase the game's immersion. Along the way, we are tracking bugs and game balance.
