Exciting news to wrap up the week! Our next open beta is just around the corner – launching NEXT WEEK! Starting Thursday November 16th at 6 am PT to Sunday November 19th at midnight PT.

As this is an Open Beta, there's no need for admission, just head over to the UNITED 1944 Steam page, request access, and download the Beta. If you already have UNITED 1944 Beta in your Steam library, just update it.

Below you'll find the complete patch notes on what new features, improvements and fixes we've made for this beta.

[h3]NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS[/h3]

  • Africa map receives the game mode SURVIVOR: you can now leave your mark fighting for treasures and glory amongst narrow bazaars & labyrinthic alleys in the north coast of Africa.
  • Nvidia DLSS & AMD FSR: we have added graphic options for proprietary upscaling techniques that should increase the fidelity of the game while maintaining & improving the overall performance.
  • Weapon balancing: we reviewed the performance of Makeshift Shotgun & Bren. Also Medium Machine Guns are now crafted with the same total amount of ammo as Light Machine Guns.


[h3]FIXES[/h3]
Since the last beta we have addressed several bugs that affected the gameplay & dimed the experience. Thanks to your feedback and continuous support we have been able to improve the stability and quality of the game, we aim to deliver in every update our most refined and exciting version of the game.
  • Fixed an issue that caused players to experience delays and lag while opening chests and backpacks in long sessions of gameplay.
  • Fixed an issue where the player view is unable to move and its view its blocked after putting two constructions consecutively in a short period of time
  • Improved performance & stability of the game.
  • Fixed various malfunctions of player spawn points in Survivors Game Mode.
  • Fixed multiple animation bugs that caused players to hold weapons incorrectly or viewing their own model in third person after certain combinations of inputs.
  • Fixed a bug where players with continuous construction activated can not stop building properly after the first root of a structure was deployed.
  • Fixed an inconsistency between the orientation of the user interface compass and the map orientation.
  • Improved the whole stability of the backend and server infrastructure.
  • Various fixes and polishes to the animations of characters both in first and third person.
  • Fixed multiple bugs that affected the UI widgets of Outposts planted by disconnected players after receiving damage .
  • Fixed a bug where makeshift shotgun was not displayed properly in the Loadout menu.
  • Fixed a bug that displayed the area of the loot extraction chest in the maps after being destroyed.
  • Fixed an issue where outposts deployed nearby the limits of the territories captured by enemy outposts incapacitate the correct placement of other structures.
  • Fixed an error where in a match with more than 4 squads in a match, the next one will be called Not Found, after this squad the nomenclature will continue correctly.
  • Improvements & fixes in the France & Egypt maps.
  • Fixed some voice lines that were not reproduced properly.
  • Fixed an issue where players that made players who went downed while reviving an ally appeared wrongly as crouched in first person after being revived.
