An Update on Co-op in ODINFALL's Early Access

Hey Vikings!

Huge thanks to everyone who took part in the recent Co-op Network Test. Your feedback was incredibly helpful and gave us some much-needed insight into the mode’s performance.

Unfortunately, we found that the co-op feature wasn’t as stable as we had initially thought. Our priority as a small indie team is to deliver a smooth and polished gaming experience for all our players. So we have made the difficult decision to launch into Early Access without the originally planned co-op mode. At this time it is best for us to concentrate our efforts on the single-player mode.

We’re dedicated to making Odinfall the most awesome game it can be, and we’re so grateful for your ongoing support and understanding.

Odinfall is shaping up to be an action-packed, chaotic adventure, and we can’t wait to share more news about what’s coming next very, very soon!

Ragnarok might be the end, but for ODINFALL, it’s just the beginning! We’ve been hard at work refining the game, and today, we’re excited to unveil a brand-new visual overhaul! From enhanced character designs to polished environments, ODINFALL has never looked this good.

Our badass roster of apocalypse survivors has leveled up! Each character now features enhanced details, sharper animations, and an even more distinct personality. Whether you're wielding oversized weaponry or rampaging as a Viking Moose, you'll look cooler than ever.

Destruction has never been this satisfying! We’ve upgraded our procedurally generated levels with improved lighting, richer details, and even more chaotic destruction. Expect bigger explosions, more reactive elements, and a world that truly feels alive (before you blow it up).



[h2]⚔️ Combat That Feels Even Better[/h2]
It’s not just about looking good - it’s about feeling good. We’ve tweaked animations, improved VFX, and added extra punch to every attack, explosion, and robotic god takedown. Combat is now faster, smoother, and more satisfying than ever!

With all these changes, ODINFALL is shaping up to be the most over-the-top, chaotic rogue-lite shooter yet. And we’re not done - there’s still more to come!

ODINFALL Early Access Update!

Greetings Vikings!

As we get closer to Early Access, we wanted to let you know that we’ve done a bit of housekeeping and updated our Steam Early Access FAQ, which you can find on Odinfall’s Steam page. It tells you everything you need to know about how Odinfall will spend its time in Early Access and what to expect from this 3 month period.



We want to reassure you that none of this means anything will be changing in terms of content, and that the version that launches into Early Access will be content complete, with just some polishing and balancing to stabilize.

Ultimately you, the community, will be the most important driving force in making Odinfall the best it can be through Early Access feedback, especially in co-op mode. You may see a few bugs as we iron them out, so please do let us know what you find. We cannot wait to hear what you think!

Colorful new Steam roguelike with amazing weapon system playable now

Odinfall is a roguelike to watch. Blending Norse mythology with technology, and channeling the top-down pixel art twin-stick action of Enter the Gungeon into something totally fresh, it's a frenetic shooter with a lot more structure than I initially anticipated. With a new demo as part of Steam Next Fest, you can suit up as one of the techno-mythological characters, and blast your way through Norse gods with some serious cybernetic enhancements.
