As a brave Pioneer you lead your people through a world that was devoured by fog—a world made up of countless islands, in which hope, craftsmanship and community must rise again. Establish settlements, discover lost tribes, unfold new technologies and face the dangers that lie in wait within the fog.

[h2]Beyond the Fog[/h2]
You are a navigator in search of the Tower of Visions – the heart of a fragmented world.
The catastrophe saw Pagonia fractured into countless isles. As the navigator, you are chosen to dispel the fog and reunite the world. Journey from island to island, meet unique factions, face dangerous enemies and find out what really happened.



Every island promises new adventures and discoveries. Every success is vital for the fate of the world.
  • Play the complete campaign with unique missions and meet a wide range of story characters
  • Discover new factions, artifacts and legends
  • Confront the Hollowed—boss enemies that seem to be born from the fog itself

Note: Even if you have played the Tutorial Map (Campaign Map 1) before, we recommend to play it again. It was reworked for 1.0 and, most importantly, you will miss major parts of the campaign story if you don't play it.

[h2]What has changed since Early Access?[/h2]
Since the Early Access release in December 2023 the game has received several major updates:

[h2]Builder's Edition[/h2]
To celebrate our big release, we updated the Builder's Edition with a very special decorative item! The bundle Includes the game Pioneers of Pagonia, the official digital guidebook, the official soundtrack, an exclusive decoration, seven original artwork wallpapers (8k) and five campaign artworks.

The decoration depicts the founder of Pagonia and is part of the wallpaper pack which is only available in the Builder's edition. Make sure to check it out!



We also added 17 more tracks to the official soundtrack with all the music from our new story campaign and updated the official guidebook with more backstory and lore now containing 234 pages!

[h2]What comes next?[/h2]
The adventures of Pioneers of Pagonia are not done yet! We've already started working on new content. Our next roadmap with more detailed information will be released in January 2026!

[h3]Highlights[/h3]
  • Campaign with more than 30 hours of playtime and three difficulty levels
  • Campaign-only features like boss encounters, landscape obstacles, unique locations and much more
  • Many enhancements for new players based on community feedback including an improved tutorial map, extended commodity tooltips and many new guidance videos.

[h3]Campaign[/h3]
  • We refrain from giving details about the campaign to avoid spoilers.
  • The campaign also offers a “Story mode” in which players can experience the full story without having to worry about military challenges.

[h3]Settlement Progression[/h3]
  • Resorted the Settlement Progression objective steps of all milestones to a more meaningful order
    • Improved several objective steps to better guide new players
    • Additionally, the list of objectives shown while playing now hides follow-up steps by default to reduce the amount of objectives displayed continuously
  • New objectives when starting with advanced landing parties
    • New progression objectives guide you to establish your settlement if you choose to start with a higher tier landing party
  • Renamed “Stone Block” progression to “Stone Block Construction”, which now requires at least one gathered Stone Block and one trained Builder
  • Moved the Arcane Academy to the Cloth section of Stone Block Construction
  • Moved Trade Carriers into the main Stone Block Construction tier


[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
  • Production building execution of competing recipes has been improved
    • Production buildings which require different quantities of the same commodity to produce different products (e.g. Weaver needs 2 Flax for Rope and 1 Flax for Cloth) until now only produced the cheaper recipe if the supply was very scarce (e.g. whenever one unit of Flax arrived, the Weaver immediately produced Cloth and therefore 2 Flax required for Ropes were never available at once).
    • Now, the recipes in those production buildings are processed alternately even when supplies are scarce (e.g. if Cloth has been produced, the Weaver will now wait for 2 Flax to arrive and produce a Rope next). This assumes both recipes are on the same priority level.
  • Building construction does not require a road connection. This change is valid since the “Major Economy Update”, but has not been communicated:
    • Pioneers, Diggers and Builders immediately start raising buildings after they have been placed. The construction site does not require a road connection anymore.
    • The economy requires road connections since Carriers need them to deliver / pick up commodities and to reach their homes.


[h3]Balancing[/h3]
  • Jewelry items now grant arcane combat boosts
  • Boar respawn rate lowered
  • Construction costs for Monument of Wisdom and Light Spire were significantly reduced
  • Reduced mana costs for Monument of Wisdom and Light Spire abilities


[h3]Guidance Videos[/h3]
  • All existing guidance videos have been updated
  • Several new guidance videos have been created to fill information gaps


[h3]User Interface[/h3]
  • Extended commodity tooltips
    • Commodity tooltips now offer much more information
    • Right-clicking a commodity centers the view on its production building
  • Selecting enemy camps now displays an info panel detailing their abilities and the number of enemies still based at this location.
  • Mouse buttons can be assigned to shortcuts
  • Resource calculations and warnings in HUD fixed and updated
  • Mini map
    • The Venturer is now displayed on the mini map
    • Buildings with critical warning flags are highlighted by default on the mini map
    • Changed colors for buildings with warnings to yellow and buildings with a critical state to red
  • New objectives are highlighted now
  • Building menu shows buttons to cycle to the next building of this type (was available via TAB already, but without UI element)
  • Construction menu now shows which tools the workers working here need
  • Hitbox for geologist signs improved
  • Updated start menu background map and animations
  • If owned, the Official Guide Book can be opened from the game start menu
