A new character is coming to MapleStory, and you can get a head start soon with the upcoming Lara Pre-Registration Event! Create your first Lara character before her full release later this year and earn special prizes in the weeks leading up to her release!

Lara Pre-Creation Event Details

Pre-create your first Lara character and complete missions with your other characters to claim special prizes!
Requirements: Lv. 30 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).
Open the Lara Pre-Registration Event UI through the event notifier on the left-side of the screen.
Create a new Lara character to earn the Lara Pre-Creation Rewards when Lara is released on Wednesday, December 1!
- You will be need to complete a special quest after Lara is released in order to claim the prizes.
- Prizes must be claimed by 11:59 PM UTC on Tuesday, December 14.
Head back into MapleStory with your existing characters in order to earn additional rewards!
When Lara is released on Wednesday, December 1, you will also be able to spend Lara Coins you've earned on a special collection of prizes!
- Coin Shop will be available from 12:00 AM UTC on Wednesday, December 1 to 11:59 PM UTC on Tuesday, December 14.

- Must be used by 11:59 PM UTC on Tuesday, December 14, cannot be traded.
Sun Kid Totem
- Grants +15 STR/DEX/INT/LUK and +5 ATT/M.ATT when equipped.

Weekly Mission 1 Details

Requirements: Lv. 30 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).
Defeat 300 monsters near your level (up to 20 levels above or below your current level) to claim these prizes!
Prizes will be available immediately.
You can also claim a bonus cache of Lara Coins for completing the mission as quickly as possible, with the number of coins decreasing with each day the mission is available!
If you fail to complete this mission during the noted period, worry not: You'll have a second chance to hunt the monsters during the Weekly Mission 2 or Weekly Mission 3 periods! You will still earn all of the prizes, save for Mitra's 2x EXP Coupon Box from the Mission Streak Bonus.

Weekly Mission 1 Rewards

2,000 Lara Coins
- Must be used by 11:59 PM UTC on Tuesday, December 14, cannot be traded.
Tera Character Burninator
- Grants the Tera Burning Effect to a character for up to 14 days.
- If still active, effect will end on November 16 at 11:59 PM UTC.
- Cannot be used on Zero characters.
- Can only be used on characters between Lv. 10 and Lv. 199.
- 7-day duration, can be traded within the account.
Character Expansion Slot Coupon
- Unlocks a new character slot on the current world.
- 10-day duration, cannot be traded.
Fast Finish Bonus Coins: Up to 420 Lara Coins
- Must be used by 11:59 PM UTC on Tuesday, December 14, cannot be traded.
- Coins are decreased by 10 with each day that passes.
Mission Streak Bonus: Mitra's 2x EXP Coupon Box (2 Weeks)
- When used, grants 2x EXP Coupon (15 min) x5.
- Coupon Box resets every Monday at 10:00 AM UTC, and can be used again to get a second set of EXP Coupons.
- Coupon Box has a 13-day duration, can be traded within the account.
- Coupons have a 10-day duration and cannot be traded.
- Can only be claimed by completing the mission during the Weekly Mission 1 period.
