Demo Update: Shark Attack Hotfix, and Targeting optimizations

Hotfix: Fixed an issue that was causing you to sit back down when trying to spear the shark from the boat. Please update your game.



Tired of jumping in the water to attack sharks?? Spear them right from your boat.
Shipwrecks can now be easily salvaged right from your boat using a fishing pole or hook.

Targeting Optimizations: This change only affects the fps/mousecam camera mode.
Increased the targeting range of Tab Target, while riding the boat in mousecam mode. You can now easily see, and cycle through ocean targets using the TAB key.

These changes only affect melee combat
Fixed an issue that was causing your "free attack (V)" to target a monster farther than the attack range of your weapon, leading to targeting conflicts while trying to fight multiple targets at the same time.

Free Attack (V) now properly shows the health bar of the enemy in range.

Auto Attack (Left click) now properly auto follows a target into the optimal range of the equipped weapon, instead of overshooting.

Backstab bonus on the stealth attack has been increased slightly.

Parry buff now heals for a slightly increased amount.

Demo Update: It's payback time Crabs! More QOL Changes.

Cooking Visual Aids

You can now watch what you are cooking. Be it a crab, fish, clam, or a fancy seafood platter!
I am sure there are many of you who want to watch those crabs burn in a fire.



Campfire will now clearly show what's for dinner so you can leave the guesswork behind. Chicken now shows what it is eating, and when it is eating so you can figure out when to look for eggs!
Oh, and please, for the love of mermaid, do not put a chicken inside a chicken!

Combat Changes:
Speaking of Crabs, well, they are just as hard as before...but now they do pause to contemplate their lives longer as they take a stroll on the beach, so you can get more opportunities to backstab them! ːsteamhappyː

Ghosts no longer heal in normal mode.

Fixed a bug that triggered an auto attack accidentally.

Camera Changes:
Default Camera is now set to Mouse View / FPS. This can be changed in settings to Fixed Cam for those who prefer the fixed camera style.


UI Visual Aids
Harvestables now have context icons (visible when hovering your mouse over) to show which tool should be used. It is a good way to tell which items are harvestable and which aren't.

Locked items now properly show a key icon on hover.

Added more tooltips (clues) on items and interactables.

UI Changes
UI Storage Windows now have text labels to show which item you are interacting with.

Harvestable Changes
Coconut trees now have a chance to give logs.
