Eternamine 1.3 is here!

Hey everyone

The third content update for Eternamine is finally here and this one has added a lot of content and QOL changes that has had focus on replayability. This update has added & changed the following things:

Content
  • A whole new mine has been discovered! This mine has a currency and upgrades that are completely separate from the main game and will reset each month. All miners in this mine will compete in a leaderboard to be the biggest earners and the best miners will win prizes at the end of each contest (each new month).
    Each months contest has a specified set of upgrades and blocks.

  • Added a new feature to specify the "effective level" of each upgrade in the game. This means you can specify exactly what level you want to apply to each upgrade (with the top cap being the level you have of that upgrade). Is your movement speed too high? Are you doing to much damage with your sword and want more of a challenge? Want to test mining with slammer but no bomber? Well just drag down the effective levels of those upgrades to whatever level you wish!

  • All skills in the sklill tree can now be toggled on/off

  • Added a bunch of new skills to the skill tree

  • Added 4 new deep mines

  • Added the infamous "Driller" upgrade

  • A new currency "trophies" has been added. This currency is earned from completing quests and "claiming" your achievements in the lobby. Trophies are spent on buying pickaxe particles, so no more spending your hard-earned cash on them.

  • Added tons of new pickaxe particles

  • Some lobbies have been redesigned and expanded.




QOL
  • A new option has been added to toggle both levelup panel and the text when you receive items
  • Your rarity distribution is now saved
  • Most lobby text has been changed from black to white for better readability
  • Your entry on leaderboards is now highlighted


Balance changes
  • The shop now has a limited stock for all items
  • Starting autochop speed: 5 → 8
  • Starting reach: 5 → 4
  • Divine mystery gift now contain some new items
  • The shop will now randomly restock while playing (not only on a new day)


Bugs/fixes
  • Fixed an issue where shop & geodes would not restock while playing
  • Fixed an issue with the refinery not resetting on rebirth
  • Fixed some issues with the input system
  • Fixed standard mines containing artifacts
  • Fixed the UI for refinery cutting out
  • Fix limitless panel being softlocked when consuming the last sigill
  • Added nuke particles

Community items launched!

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd post a small announcement here to let you know that trading cards, badges, profile backgrounds & emoticons are now available for Eternamine!

Trading cards will be dropped to you when playing which can be crafted into badges.
Profile backgrounds and emoticons can be bought in the Steam point shop.

On another note, development for Eternamine 1.3 has gone quite well in the last week, you can expect it to drop in September :)

Patch released | 17/06 - 2023

A small patch has been applied to Eternamine, it handles the following fixes and changes

  • Implemented the inventory expander item to work properly
  • Added a "Buy all mines" button to the standard mine panel

Eternamine 1.2 is here!

Hey everyone

The second content update for Eternamine is finally here and this is a big one. This update has added & changed the following things:

Content
  • Multiple blocks can now drop pure or raw gemstones in accordance to their respective ore. These can be sold in the shop or refined for better items
  • A new item type, geodes, are now here. These can be bought and opened and contain some really valuable items, including the new "Limitless sigils"
  • Limitless sigils are new items that when used, will permanently increase the max level of an upgrade of your choice, this effect does not reset when rebirthing.
  • Refinery: Items can now be refined into higher tier items, refining takes some time and only has a % chance to work. If a refine process does not work, the original item will still be consumed
  • Lots of new quest types have been added
  • 9 New achievements have been added
  • The blocks mined & enemies defeated leaderboards have been reworked and now stores the exact value
  • Added a quick-open option for crates
  • You can now multi-sell in the shop


Balance changes
  • The starting CPS of mining has been increased from 1 CPS to 5


Bugs/fixes
  • Fixed an issue where quests would overtick
  • Fixed an issue where prestige'ing would not cost money
  • Fixed a bug with the automine
  • Fixed a bug where dark ores would not break


Eternamine 1.1 is here!

Hey everyone

The first ever content update for Eternamine is finally here. This update has added & changed the following things:

Content
  • Pets are here! These companions will give you some help in your mining adventure with their various different abilities. Pets are unlocked with the new Pet egg item. On top of this, most pets can be upgraded for money.
  • The shopkeeper is desperately trying to fill up his stock, he will now buy any items you may have for any of the main three currencies.
  • Full controller support has been added
  • Multiple new skills have been added to the skill tree
  • 2 More leaderboards have been added. Blocks mined & Enemies defeated
  • You can now toggle borderless fullscreen using F11
  • A new secret achievement has been added...


Balance changes
  • Ores in the dark mines can now drop random items
  • Dark mines have received a big buff to their rewards


Bugs/fixes
  • Fixed an issue where enemies would not give money when defeated
  • Added an info panel to the rarity distribution panel
  • Optimization in various places
