Patch released | 20/02 - 2024

A small patch has been applied to Eternamine, it handles the following fixes and changes
  • Fixed an issue where rebirth points would temporarily be reset to 0 when entering the lobby
  • Fixed an issue where the tooltip and held items in your inventory would flicker in the standard mines when moving
  • Various other bug fixes have also been applied up to this patch note

Eternamine 2.0 is here!

Hey everyone! The largest update to Eternamine, "Eternamine 2.0" is finally here! This update has added & changed the following things:

Content

[h2]Multiple save files[/h2]
Eternamine now has a multi-save file system. You will be able to create and play various save files in the new main menu of the game. On top of this, 4 different gamemodes and 3 game difficulties have been added, including the unique "MineLock" gamemode!

[h2]Abilities[/h2]
A new ability system has been added. You can now unlock, upgrade and equip different abilities for your player, sword and pickaxe by talking with the "Player Master". All 3 categories have 3 abilities each.

[h2]Random events[/h2]
Random events can now periodically happen during gameplay. There are currently 5 different random events that can happen:
  • Infected mine - A random mine is infected, clearing the entire mine will give you rewards
  • Pet rescue event - A lost pet appears in a random mine, finding the pet will give you rewards
  • Golden chalice - A golden chalice is spawned in a random mine. Finding the chalice will give you rewards and buffs
  • Upgrade discount - All upgrades are discounted for a few minutes
  • Scorching furnace - All refinery recipes started during this period will immediately be 50% complete


[h2]Skill tree expansion[/h2]
The skill tree has been greatly expanded. The amount of skills have been more than doubled. Total number of skills is now up to 138

[h2]New Items[/h2]
A few new items have been added. Pet food, miners caches as well as cosmic money and token bags.

[h2]New upgrades[/h2]
4 new upgrades have been added.

[h2]More deep mines[/h2]
Tons of more deep mines have been added. Going all the way down to "Zenith Zephyr" unlocked at 5.000 prestige levels.

[h2]More achievements[/h2]
Tons of more achievements have been added.

[h2]More customization[/h2]
  • Added shader skins for player, swords, pickaxes & pets
  • Added tons of new pickaxe and sword skins
  • Added 10 more pickaxe & sword particles
  • You can now rename your pets
  • You can now change your displayed name in the UI


[h2]More pets[/h2]
4 New pets have been added. Wolf, flamingo, moose and "pet rock"...?

[h2]Creaturepedia[/h2]
Added the "Creaturepedia". As you discover enemies/pets and NPC's you will now fill in their info in the "Creaturepedia".

[h2]More enemies[/h2]
The creatures of the dungeons has received some backup. You will now find many more enemies in the four different dungeons. Perfect for filling out your new Creaturepedia :)

QOL
  • You can now see contest prizes at the contest master
  • Added x1, x10, x25 mult button to the rarity distribution
  • You can now see upgrade stats in the effective level panel
  • You can now see upgrade levels in the upgrade panel
  • You can now see your prestige level in the standard/deep mine panel
  • Added set all max/0 to the effective level panel
  • Added camera mode (Press F1 to toggle camera mode)
  • Added support for various resolutions (Including ultrawide)
  • You can now spend gems to instantly finish refinery recipes


Bugs/Changes
  • The blockopedia has been redesigned
  • Fixed various bugs related to the contest mine (Stats not resetting, rewards not being given etc.)
  • The pet system has been slightly reworked, you're no longer guaranteed to get a pet you don't own. Duplicate pets will now give "pet food" which can be used to upgrade existing pets or refined into pet eggs.
  • PvE has had some reworks. Sword upgrades have been nerfed. Your damage is now also dependent on far out on your sword hits an enemy (further out means more damage)
  • Added 5 new stats (Quests completed, dungeons completed, pets rescued, infections cleared & chalices found)
  • Added 3 new leaderboards (Deepest layer found, quests completed & dungeons completed)
  • The rebirth system has been nerfed.
  • Various smaller additions have been added. (wild animals, throwing coin into the lobby well, "Snowmans curse...?" and more)
  • Performance improvements

Eternamine update 1.3.2

A smaller update has been applied with the following changes and additions:
  • Autosaving is now enabled again (The game autosaves once every minute)
  • Saving is no longer done on scene transitions
  • Fixed an issue with buying another refinery slot
  • Claiming stacked refinery rewards will now roll the success chance for each individual item instead of for the entire stack

Eternamine update 1.3.1

A smaller update has been applied with the following changes and additions:

  • You can now create and restore a backup save in the pause menu
  • Particle effects for swords have been added
  • Particles are now paged instead of being in a scrollbar
  • Added a setting for FPS limit
  • Fixed an issue with new contests

Eternamine 1.3 is here!

Hey everyone

The third content update for Eternamine is finally here and this one has added a lot of content and QOL changes that has had focus on replayability. This update has added & changed the following things:

Content
  • A whole new mine has been discovered! This mine has a currency and upgrades that are completely separate from the main game and will reset each month. All miners in this mine will compete in a leaderboard to be the biggest earners and the best miners will win prizes at the end of each contest (each new month).
    Each months contest has a specified set of upgrades and blocks.

  • Added a new feature to specify the "effective level" of each upgrade in the game. This means you can specify exactly what level you want to apply to each upgrade (with the top cap being the level you have of that upgrade). Is your movement speed too high? Are you doing to much damage with your sword and want more of a challenge? Want to test mining with slammer but no bomber? Well just drag down the effective levels of those upgrades to whatever level you wish!

  • All skills in the sklill tree can now be toggled on/off

  • Added a bunch of new skills to the skill tree

  • Added 4 new deep mines

  • Added the infamous "Driller" upgrade

  • A new currency "trophies" has been added. This currency is earned from completing quests and "claiming" your achievements in the lobby. Trophies are spent on buying pickaxe particles, so no more spending your hard-earned cash on them.

  • Added tons of new pickaxe particles

  • Some lobbies have been redesigned and expanded.




QOL
  • A new option has been added to toggle both levelup panel and the text when you receive items
  • Your rarity distribution is now saved
  • Most lobby text has been changed from black to white for better readability
  • Your entry on leaderboards is now highlighted


Balance changes
  • The shop now has a limited stock for all items
  • Starting autochop speed: 5 → 8
  • Starting reach: 5 → 4
  • Divine mystery gift now contain some new items
  • The shop will now randomly restock while playing (not only on a new day)


Bugs/fixes
  • Fixed an issue where shop & geodes would not restock while playing
  • Fixed an issue with the refinery not resetting on rebirth
  • Fixed some issues with the input system
  • Fixed standard mines containing artifacts
  • Fixed the UI for refinery cutting out
  • Fix limitless panel being softlocked when consuming the last sigill
  • Added nuke particles
