Dominance — Newest Playtest on November 26-27!

Hello, Dominators!

The weekends are here, and so is the newest Dominance playtest — starting Nov 26th and until 11:00 pm PST Nov 27th! Join the battlefields and try out the first ever Bullet-hell Royale — solo or with friends!

We continue to improve the game — based on your feedback and game stats. And this version of the game will be special, because you will be able to unlock cosmetics by earning mastery exp on characters! It’s going to be interesting even if you participated in previous tests!

Main changes in the latest version:
  • Cosmetic items — earn skins and other customisation items by earning experience on your favourite Seekers! During playtest 5x experience buff will be active!
  • Rebalanced stats for a big number of weapons and artefacts
  • Self-damage from ricochets was lessened by 50%
  • Death recap and killer’s stats window

[h3]How to Play[/h3]
If you've participated in previous playtest, or at least got access and downloaded the game — just update Dominance and jump into the game!

If you're a new player — simply go to Dominance Steam page, click “Request Access”. After receiving confirmation press "Play the Game" to install the game’s client.

There are no restrictions on when or how long to play — simply launch the game any time you want and play as long as you want until November 20th at 11:00 pm PST! If there are not enough players in the match — the game will add bots for you to play against.

[h3]How to play with friends[/h3]
1. Open your Friend list and click “+Invites”


2. Type in the nickname of the player you want to add. IMPORTANT: Upon 1st launch the game will ask you to come up with a nickname — you have to write this nickname to add a friend and NOT their Steam nickname.


3. After your friend accepts the invitation, you can find them in your Friend list. Simply click on their profile in the list and select “Invite to Party”


4. Voila! Just click “Play” and you’ll be on the same team when the match begins. You can have up to 3 people playing on one team.

[h3]Error 002 - Server is not responding[/h3]
This error means that the game’s server is currently offline. While we do our best to make sure it works properly throughout the playtest — some hiccups can still occur. If you’re met with this error upon entering the game — just try starting it again a couple minutes later.

[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
  • Bullets and projectiles from ricochets now deal only 50% damage to their owner
  • Stalker — skill changes.
    Fixed the problem causing Stalker’s scanning ability to freeze enemies in it’s radius
    Still grants defense bonus after using both of Stalker’s abilities
    Now slows down enemies upon use in a small radius around Stalker
    Broadened the radius in which Stalker becomes visible with his invisibility granted by 5th perk
  • Now all projectiles a the same colored after their weapons respective grades
  • Now to exit the “Ghost” state after the deployment you need to press Space

  • Finn
    3rd perk granting dodge — shortened cooldown time from 12/7/3 to 6/4.5/3
    4th perk, granting Force after becoming invisible — raised the bonus from 40/80/140 to 70/110/150
  • Veteran
    1st perk — raised the bonus to cooldown time reduction from 10/25/70 to 25 /50/75
    2nd perk — amount of damage converted into health recovery changed from 5/10/25% to 10/20/50%
  • Valkyrie
    2nd perk — lowered the bonus consumables use speed on level 3 from 250 to 175
    3rd perk — lowered the bonus to maximum shields from 100/200/300 to 100/175/250
  • Stalker
    2nd perk — cooldown time extended from 16 sec to 17 sec
  • Artefact “Highlander”
    Lowered health regeneration amount from 10 to 9 hp per tick
  • Artefact “Rosebud
    Lowered regeneration amount from 10 to 9 shields per tick
  • Artefact “Shadow Dance”
    Bonus movement speed for the team raised from 100 to 110
  • Artefact “Bloody Mess”
    Raised Force bonus from 15 to 20
    Lowered Accuracy bonus from 70 to 45
  • Artefact “Shroudmancer”
    Defense bonus while invisible raised from 50 to 100
  • Artefact “Camelot”
    Reload speed bonus lowered from 75 to 65
  • Artefact “Doctor Rage”
    Raised run speed bonus after using consumables from 100 to 120
    Lowered Force bonus from 100 to 60
    Lowered active time from 10 to 9 sec
  • Artefact “LeadHead”
    Magazine/Clip size bonus raised from 25% to 45%

    Raised the effect activation radius from 200 to 700

  • Revolver
    Projectile life time lowered from 1 sec to 0.7 sec
    Damage changed from 51/72/96/121 to 61/72/84/107
  • Bow
    Main attack - lowered fire rate from 600 to 400
    Alternative attack - arrow speed adjusted from 2900 to 2400
  • Sawed Off Shotgun
    Maximum spread raised from 11 to 25
    Projectile life time lowered from 0.75 sec to 0.4 sec
    Damage per pellet changed from 20/22/24/26 to 27/31/35/39
    Fixed the bug which caused Sawed Off Shotgun to shoot 1 less pellet on 4th level rarity
    Alternative attack — hook fly speed changed from 2000 to 3500
    Hook size raised from 5 to 15
  • Arbalet
    Arrow fly speed changed from 5000 to 3500
    Damage changed from 45/60/75/90 to 42/52/62/72
    Maximum spread changed from 5 to 13
  • UZI
    Reload speed changed from 2 to 1.3
    Fixed the bug which caused lvl 4 UZI to have 50% smaller model than normally.

[h3]Interface[/h3]
  • Damaging mobs now displays damage numbers
  • Added a message 1 minute before deployment, which notifies about turning off shooting and ability usage
  • Number of teams left in the match changed to number of players left
  • Killer’s stat screen/Death recap
    Upon 1st death a “Info about the Killer” button will show up. After pressing it you can see the Killer’s stats panel, containing info about his level, upgrades, buffs, equipment and stats. You can also see amount of damage dealt to you by each weapon.
    Upon 2nd death this screen is opened automatically.
  • Now weapon reload progress shows above character’s head
  • Enhanced pings display
  • Added tips to artefact description, denoting if its effects stack or not
