v. 0.1.6 Demo update

Hello. This update brings a number of balance changes big and small. In addition there's a new "challenge" type map that has no time limit and gives you a score for a global leaderboard. This will most likely need some fine-tuning so looking forward to your feedback from it.

v. 0.1.6 changes:
General
- New "challenge" maps: Custom seed maps with no time limit. Get as far as you can and compete in the global leaderboards with your score
- Enemies spawn more frequently. At the same time the level up experience and xp/gold ratio from enemies have been adjusted
- Weapon projectile upgrades are also available on level up (this is a big reason why Nicolaus/Ranger felt weak)
- Elite kill animation screen removed. Particle effects have been added to the rewards screen
- Villagers that fight for you will change position periodically
- Villager hire changed from 120 to 200 gold
- Increased mission visibility on map
- Missions no longer give instant level up as a reward
- Mission success requirements increased a bit
- Better visual feedback when player takes damage
- Items are a bit more expensive overall
- Condensed power-up and accessibility information on end screen
- Bank timer will increase by 30s with each use
- Healing Pond timer increased from 90s to 120s
- Bandit Camp enemy gold drop rate is 50% instead of 100% and gold worth is lowered from 25% to 10%
- Bandit power-up level increase lowered from 5% to 3%
- Blood Transfusion Set healing amount lowered from 0.3 to 0.2 per kill
Bugs
- Potential crash with older save file since the default character changed
- Accessibility checks weren't properly taken into account with no powerup achievements
- Gamepad item selection wasn't accurate in level up screen

v. 0.1.5 Demo update

Hello. This small update focuses on some important GUI changes. Hopefully what is presented on the screen is a bit nicer overall. :) Please keep on giving feedback either on the Steam forums or on Discord, thank you.

v. 0.1.5 changes:
General
- Level up animation screen removed and the setting to go along with it. Particle effects have been added to the selection screen
- Many smaller GUI changes for a more streamlined and cohesive look
- Removed the full screen red flash when player takes damage

v. 0.1.4 Demo update

Hello. Just a couple of fairly minor changes in this one that will help new demo testers in particular!

v. 0.1.4 changes:
General
- Titus (Warrior) is the first character available as many pointed out it is likely the easier character to learn the game with
- Level up screen is a bit more clear and understandable with the option groups

v. 0.1.3 Demo update

Hello. With some minor tweaks and bug fixes aside, this update brings accessibility options to adjust enemy difficulty and some angry villagers that can join your party. :)

v. 0.1.3 changes:
General
- New Accessibility options: Tweak the health, damage and speed of enemies to adjust the difficulty
- New building: Town Hall - Hire a villager to aid you in battle
- Rescue and Defend missions will have an extra reward: Villager will join your party
- Nicolaus (Ranger) default attack speed is faster (1.5s -> 1.3s)
- Melee weapon damage upgrade lowered same as all the others (0.6 -> 0.5)
- Bank interval changed from 100s to 120s
Bugs
- Game crash if trying to sell default weapon
- Level up "A option" was not working properly and only gave you the selected item instead of all
- Missions did not extend/pause during a boss battle

v. 0.1.2 Demo update

Hello. I'll be improving the demo all the way to Early Access so keep the feedback coming I really appreciate it.

v. 0.1.2 changes:
General
- New event: Defend mission - kill a certain number of enemies while in an area for an instant level up
- Game will no longer unpause when using health consumables so you can e.g. eat multiple apples at once
- Set up Discord server and put a link in main menu (https://discord.gg/mvv4k8zBMC)
- Melee weapon damage upgrade dropped from 0.7 to 0.6
- Shop has been renamed to Blacksmith
- Added Store building that sells consumables only
- Adjusted consumable costs/value
- Missions such us villager rescue have to be manually started with the Interact button
- Village rescue area is larger
- Added better contrast for some GUI texts
Bugs
- Level up could have missing options in certain situations
