• [p]Fixed a major desynchronization bug on the Wainwright server that would look like players were being killed by invisible enemies, among other symptoms. This was due to a desynchronization issue with gateways that has been addressed yesterday.[/p]

[p]We are aware of the severity of the bug and how it has effected the community and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We are extending both directive event and sales along with activating a double xp event and have just added 7 more days of Daybreak All-Access to members who logged into Wainwright during the de-sync week.[/p][p][/p][h2]Time Extensions of Sales, Events and Memberships[/h2][p]As part of our compensation efforts to address the major desynchronization bug on Wainwright we will extend the following:[/p]

• [p]Summer Bravo Event Directive (Operation: Kaiju) and its accompanying alerts will be extended for 7 days.[/p]
• [p]The 40% off infantry weapons sale will be extended by 7 days.[/p]
• [p]All Access members who logged into Wainwright during the week of heavy de-syncing have just received 7 more days of membership added to their account.[/p]

In today’s letter you’ll learn about the new additions, changes and balance adjustments to the Infiltrator class. We hope you enjoy the PTS update, and we look forward to hearing about your experiences with the changes. [/p][p][/p][h2]Infiltrator Rework – Phase One (PTS, July 30 – August 12 , 2025) [/h2][p]The new Infiltrator rework aims to reduce the class's overreliance on high-damage ambushes while expanding their utility in team-based play. The class is being adjusted to support more tactical, flexible gameplay. We recognize how impactful and potentially jarring these class and playstyle changes can be. [/p][p]Therefore, we invite you to fill out our new PTS survey on the changes. The survey is live and we encourage you to partake in it as you complete your playtest this weekend. Your feedback is very important to us, so be sure to drop your feedback! [/p][p][/p][p]Cloaking Adjustments [/p]

• [p]Increased delay between decloaking and firing[/p]
• [p]Cloaked players are now more visible and audible at close range[/p]
• [p]Stalker Cloak no longer allows infinite stealth while moving [/p][p][/p]

[h2]Wraith Cloak (Flash) Changes [/h2]

• [p]Increased delay between decloaking and firing[/p]
• [p]Cloak effectiveness decreases significantly at close distances [/p][p][/p]

[h2]New Tool – Recon Drone [/h2]

• [p]Deployable scout drone controlled by the Infiltrator[/p]
• [p]Can mark enemies for allies within a limited range[/p]
• [p]The EMP Grenade drop feature is available for use.[/p]
• [p]Infiltrator remains stationary and vulnerable while piloting the drone[/p]
• [p]Drone has a limited battery, low health, and emits detectable audio/visual cues[/p]
• [p]Certification options include extended range, longer mark duration, and offensive upgrades[/p]
• [p]The drone cannot be used in conjunction with cloaking abilities [/p]

• [p]New Observer Implant for the Engineer class. By equipping this implant, Spitfire turrets can now spot cloaked Infiltrators and attack them[/p]
• [p]Multiple implants, including Dead Man Trigger, have received critical feedback.[/p]
  • [p]Dev Note: We are reviewing this feedback and are exploring adjustments to improve their design, clarity, and tactical value[/p]
• [p]Dead Man Trigger is not cancelled, but is under active redesign to ensure it feels meaningful and fair [/p]

[p][/p][h2]Next Steps [/h2]

• [p]This update marks just the first phase of the rework[/p]
• [p]Additional changes are planned in later phases based on testing and community input.  We want to share 2 main changes planned for phase 2. If we are satisfied with their quality, we will present them to the community for evaluation in future playtests[/p]
  • [p]The Recon Drone's ability to spot and mark even cloaked infiltrators[/p]
  • [p]Well distinguishable visual effect of glare from sniper scopes. The effect will be noticeable even on cloaked Infiltrators looking through the scope[/p]
• [p]We received some feedback about the low quality of animated camouflages from the June PTS update, especially on vehicles. We agree with this assessment and are currently actively refining them! Expect animated camouflages in future updates![/p]
• [p]Player feedback from the PTS will guide tuning, usability improvements, and future development. It's very important for us to know your thoughts to make the game better in the best way possible! Please keep in mind that this is the first iteration of the infiltrator rework. We will continue updating the Infiltrator class based on gathered statistics and your feedback!  [/p]

We will be addressing this in a future patch to provide a fair and less frustrating experience while hunting this currency.[/p][p]Note 2: We have decided to not put Deadman Trigger onto the live servers and will re-evaluate its purpose.
