[h2]Balance Adjustments[/h2]

LA60 Masthead (NC Anti-Materiel Rifle)

• Flak Detonation distance from 4m to 2m.
  
• Crouchwalk and Standing Hipfire CoF from 2.25 to 3.5
  
• Crouching Hipfire CoF from 1.25 to 3
  
• Walking Hipfire CoF from 3.5 to 4.5
  

Dev Note: These changes are meant to increase the precision required to deliver the damage the Masthead is capable of.


Pelter Rocket Pod (Valkyrie)

• Magazine size from 10 to 8.
  

Dev Note: Mag size nerfs for weapons with limited mag sizes tend to swing the effectiveness of a weapon pretty heavily, but it's likely there will still need to be follow-up tuning to find a good middle-ground where this weapon should live.


[h2]Misc. Changes, Fixes, and Additions[/h2]

• Addressed hitching-related issues by streamlining garbage collection, these changes should help reduce hitching beyond only Amerish.
  
• Fixed an issue causing small white lights to occasionally appear and flicker around the screen.
  
• Updated NS-45 "Assassin" Pilot with the correct models for Suppressor and Darklight.
  
• Construction objects can no longer be placed within HMS Technologies, on Oshur.
  
• Updated Decoy Grenade tooltip to reflect existing motion detection functionality.
  
• Increased Decoy Grenade tracking pulse duration from 1sec. to 2sec., which will prevent minimap icons from flickering on the map.
  
• TR Sunderer Ranger no longer uses NSO reticles.
  

[h2]Known Issues[/h2]
We're actively investigating the issue with Merit/Mentor rating loss and inability to generate more, and will deploy a solution as soon as it's available.

All PC servers will come down for the following update on Wednesday, August 10, at 6:00am PT (3:00pm CEST). Downtime for this update is expected to last up to 3 hours.

[h2]Misc. Changes, Fixes, and Additions[/h2]

• Mission pools now reset every 8 hours, instead of every 24.
  
• Surveying the Land mission is now completable on Oshur using Trident bases.
  
• Replaced "All Access" icon on Missions and Depot with updated Membership iconography.
  
• Made adjustments to nudge laser guided, lockon, and proximity-lock projectiles back into alignment. Future adjustments may be needed.
  
• Increased the overall tracking speed and maximum velocity of Defector's Hummingbird.
  
• Oshur Seaposts now have Pain Fields in the spawn rooms.
  
• Fixed an issue where Outfit Wars enlistment button would show as lit, but unclickable, despite already being enrolled in a war.
  
• Fixed an issue where Outfit Wars enlistment button could show as 0/48 when 48 players had completed signup.
  
• Fixed an issue causing Spitfire Turrets to use Basilisk audio.
  
• NS-45 "Assassin" Pilot now has access to Darklight and Suppressor.
  
• NS-45 "Assassin" Pilot's rear sight dots no longer hover out of place during a reload.

[h2]Outfit Wars Enlistment Begins![/h2]
Enlistment for this season's Outfit War event runs from Aug. 03 - Aug. 14. You must have at least 48 players in your Outfit in order to sign up, and 48 players must sign up individually to confirm your Outfit's participation in the event.


[h2]Summer Directive - Sullen Swells![/h2]
The last of our Summer Directive lineup runs from Aug. 03 - Aug. 17!

• Beat the Heat - Score kills with a Summer Holiday Weapon.
  
• Summer Support - Earn Summer Support ribbons by resupplying or repairing vehicles while in a vehicle.
  
• Beach Episode - Earn squad experience.
  
• Sunscreen - Earn healing experience.
  
• Strife Aquatic - Capture seapost bases on Oshur.
  
• Air and Ocean - Earn kills underwater or mid-air as infantry.
  
• Completing the last tier of this directive unlocks Countershade! Conceal your presence on land and sea with this new exceptional implant. Countershade will be made craftable, and found in implant packs after the event ends.
  

Countershade
Killing an enemy will conceal your radar signature from detection devices for 8 seconds. Triggering this implant while underwater applies this effect until you resurface.

[h2]New to the Depot![/h2]
Traitor Bundle - 2999 DBC
There's a spy among us... The Traitor Bundle makes its way to the depot. Be the assassin you've always dreamed of (?) with this new common-pool bundle. Weapons apply progress to the Exceptional VI directive.

[h2]Misc. Changes, Fixes, and Additions[/h2]

• Cleaned up an issue preventing NSO outfit leaders from enlisting their Outfits
  
• Optimized Basilisk firing audio for ground-based vehicles. (This was already done for Corsairs.)
  
• Optimized particle FX for tank mines, EMP grenades, C-4, Claymores, and various vehicle death explosions.
  
• Nanite Boosts now show your proper boosted amount per tick in the loadout screen and TAB screen.
  
• Fixed an issue where god rays could wash out flora color.
  
• UBP-1 "Steel" Starfish now counts toward the Exceptional VI directive.
  

[h2]Known Issues[/h2]

• We're currently investigating periodic hitching taking place on Amerish. This is our highest priority at the moment.
  
• Homing and wire-guided projectiles still need a tuning pass, as of the Surf and Storm update.
