Space Marine 2 "too big of a success" not to get DLC or a sequel

Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 is proving to be one of the biggest videogame hits to come from Games Workshop's universe to date, standing alongside other outstanding projects like Warhammer 40K: Boltgun, Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War, Warhammer 40K: Darktide, and the first Space Marine. It's also done very well for World War Z, Gloomhaven, and Evil Dead: The Game creator Saber Interactive, with the company's CEO now telling press that the Space Marine sequel has been enough of a success that the team is all but guaranteed to be working on DLC and a follow-up in the future.

Saber CEO seemingly confirms controversial Space Marine 2 post is real

Earlier this week, PCGamesN reported on a post, left in response to a video by YouTuber 'Asmongold' about Space Marine 2, that was seemingly written by Saber CEO Matthew Karch. The post, written by an account with the name '@MatthewKarch,' and using a photograph of the Saber boss, describes frustrations with videogames that make "overblown attempts at messaging or imposing morals on gamers." PCGamesN contacted Saber to obtain confirmation whether the post was authentically written by Karch. The company refused to comment. Now, a LinkedIn account, also seemingly belonging to Karch, shares a comment that endorses the original YouTube post.

There's a certain dance that's been occurring in Space Marine 2 since launch. Players will load into a game in the PvE Operations mode and find that the class they want to play is already chosen by another. Thus begins the shuffle, with all players trying to work out who can play what, given how you cannot have two of the same class in a game. Fans have been asking for this process to be smoothed out, and now the developer has responded.
