A new hotfix has just been pushed live, and it amends plenty of crashing problems across all platforms while alleviating the pressure on some CPUs. While Space Marine 2 is the most successful 40k launch to date, plenty of us are still having PC issues that are hindering an otherwise fantastic co-op shooter.

Befitting its name, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 brings a lot of firepower to the party, from flame-hurling Meltas to the punchy Heavy Bolt Rifle, and even a variety of class equipment. This makes creating the best Space Marine 2 builds for PvP and PvE co-op rather complicated.

Although Warhammer 40: Space Marine 2 has a large arsenal of weapons that'll complement the best Space Marine 2 classes and their builds, you won't have the full selection available right away. You will unlock more as you progress through the Space Marine 2 missions as part of the campaign, and the separate PvP and co-op game modes both feature six unique classes that restrict what weapons you can use.

Fixed some rare possible crashes when starting the game
Fixed a rare possible crash that occured during the first cutscene
Fixed several other rare crashes
Fixed several rare bugs that were causing soft locks in the story mode

On top of that first quick fix, we're preparing a bigger patch for later in September. This patch will bring, among other things:

Ultrawide support
Private PvE lobbies
Sparring Arena in the Battle Barge

В наших краях о вселенной Warhammer 40,000 узнали во многом благодаря стратегической серии Dawn of War от Relic Entertainment. После выхода двух успешных частей и различных дополнений руководители студии решили попробовать свои силы в новом жанре и создали боевик от третьего лица Space Marine. Какой-то большой сенсацией он не стал, но в итоге неплохо продался. Поклонники "сорокотонника" ждали продожения истории капитана Деметриана Тита, ведь она завершилась на самом интересном месте. Однако издательство THQ обанкротилось, и о сиквеле уже не могло быть и речи. Лишь спустя десять лет, когда про игру подзабыли, Space Marine 2 была анонсирована на The Game Awards 2021. Авторами неожиданно оказались базирующиеся в Санкт-Петербурге разработчики из Saber Interactive. Спустя ещё три года можно, наконец, узнать, что же там произошло с Титом.
