We started this project with a small idea: what would a multiplayer version of Into the Breach be like? After a year, it became an actual game, to the point where we could hold a tournament. We’re so proud of it!

[h3]How did the tournament go? [/h3]

For the tournament held during Steam Next Fest, the participants were our team or friends of ours (ta-da! Big reveal), and we had so much fun competing with each other, getting away from boring test play. We’re planning on holding the second and third tournaments. Be prepared!

It’s been about a month since the Steam Next Fest update. In the meantime, we have reorganized and polished the game.

[h3]Where have we been? [/h3]

We were going under further developments to enhance the fun of the game by increasing the strategic diversity of the game. (Look forward to the next post!) We also got feedback from you that our game is not easy to start, so we’re implementing guides to help you through the game (not in an annoying way, though.) Thanks again for the feedback!

SPB is our first game, and as any first-timers would do, there have been a lot of struggles, but our players have been so supportive of us. We truly appreciate you all.

"HOPU" The Adelie Penguin uses Judo Martial Arts 🐧🥋
You can grab enemies and throw them over your shoulder.

"MOMONA" is a plump seal with a big appetite.
You can charge at enemies from a distance.

"TONY SEALPRANO" is the boss of the Antarctic seal MAFIA. 🦭🎩
You can charm enemies and draw them in.

[h3][New Zombie !] [/h3]
"Boomer" is a zombie that explodes when touched. 💥
Unlike other zombies, if you PUSH it, it flies far away.
Try playing ping-pong with each other, like a ping-pong ball.

[h3][New Level Up System]🏅[/h3]
Now, when you level up, characters can purchase individual bonuses in a newly renovated system.
Also, each character can purchase special upgrades.
For example, when you upgrade KAWAU, its attack will penetrate objects!

[h3][Other Improvements] 🗒️[/h3]
1) Game background and other graphic resources have been upgraded.
2) Distinction between allies and enemies is clearer. Now, allies are marked in green and enemies in red.
3) Zombie attacks are now more visible in terms of their direction.
4) The animations of the characters have become more diverse.
5) The AI has become stronger 🤖
