[h2]Community Games Announcement[/h2]

We’re planning to organize community games (or a small tournament) in South Pole Bebop on Discord for players to have the opportunity to play against each other since sometimes it might hard to find other players in PvP

Here are the details of the tournament and how to participate in it:

Date: TBD (Once we know how many people want to participate, we’ll choose a date based on a poll we’ll create for you to vote for the convenient date & times)

How to participate: join our Discord Server and let us know in the general chat if you wish to participate, we will include you in our tournament discord channel, where we’ll provide further instructions :)

There will be a little reward for the winner: A discord role “SPB Tournament winner”, since it’s a first Discord tournament, we hope to expand our reward pool in future tournaments and add other perks such as Steam Gift Card, etc. :)

There will definitely be some practice before the community games!
P.S. Joining a voice channel on Discord & recording your games during the tournament are not required

We have our own Discord Server dedicated to South Pole Bebop. Our players usually find other players to play with or talk to our devs. We also organize events & polls for our community, so be sure to join the server:) We'll keep you updated about the game!

We’re excited to announce that South Pole Bebop will be part of Midgard’s new event showcasing carbon-accountable games!



From Dec 4 (3PM CET) to 12 (9AM CET) on GOG and Dec 9 (3PM CET) to 16 (9AM CET) on Steam, this event will spotlight games made by developers who have tracked and disclosed their carbon emissions during development. Featuring over 20 titles, this initiative takes a fresh approach to sustainability in the gaming industry, highlighting the importance of carbon disclosures.

As climate-conscious gamers make up 72% of the community, Midgard hopes to raise awareness about upcoming carbon tracking requirements for developers starting in 2025.
