[p]Curators, delve into adventure![/p][p]Curators across the planes, it’s time to polish your dice (and if they’re weighted, we’ll know), fluff your woolly hat, and for good measure, brew some dragon fire potions as we delve into the new, exciting adventures in update 4.0. [/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]You can forget your everyday museum curation for now because we’re about to send you to the ends of the County’s map! The first grand adventure takes you deep into the Pointy Mountains; brave the peaks and befriend yetis as you uncover the truth behind what really happened to the mysteriously missing curator from Memento Mile.[/p][p]Then, dust off the snow (and your dragon fire shields), as you’re whisked away to the fairy tale lands of Scorched Earth. Try not to get too lost in the whimsical enchantment, and remember, never follow a goblin off the beaten track, as there are six new exhibits to discover, and a party to assemble, in the Fantasy Finds taster.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
So, what’s new?
[p]A (literal) mountain of new content awaits, so let’s delve into our highlights! If you want to skip to the full changelist, it’s below![/p]

[p][/p]
Fantasy Finds Taster
[p]Well, well, well. It seems our goblin friends have gone a little overboard with the whole “unleash the magic” button. Or perhaps they just really like shiny things, and couldn’t wait? Either way, fantastic news for you, curators! You can now start gathering your party early, in anticipation of the full Fantasy Finds adventure dropping on 17th July. [/p][p][/p][p]You can now embark on fairy tale (and slightly fiery) adventures to the first three Points of Interest in Scorched Earth! Unearth a treasure trove of fantastical exhibits and wondrous decor to really bring a tavern vibe to your museums. And the best bit? Everything you unlock from these first POIs is now in the base game, just like magic. It’s not a demo, you see, your hard-earned loot is yours to keep (if you keep the thieves at bay, that is).[/p][p][/p][p]To explore the Fantasy Finds campaign, you’ll need to have completed Memento Mile Act 1, our lovely city location. Or if you just can’t wait, you can jump straight into the fantasy fray from the get-go, in sandbox mode.[/p][p][/p]
Pointy Mountains Finale Level
[p]Alright, curators, prepare yourself for the ultimate test of your curation skills. With your pointiest trowel and fluffiest brush at the ready, it’s time to open the frosted doors to Pointy Mountain.[/p][p]Your museum career culminates in this brand-new finale museum, perched precariously atop the County’s Pointy Mountains. It’s got snow, it’s got mystery, it’s got yetis, and an incredibly chilly exhibit.[/p][p][/p][p]Once you’ve achieved Curator Class VII, this epic final museum unlocks. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to unearth the truth behind that pesky missing curator, who we’d all just assumed had ran off. Best five new stars of gameplay as you befriend yetis to discover a new exhibit and entertain two new guest types, in our largest museum location to date.[/p][p]Are you ready for the final frontier of museum management? Don’t forget your thermal underwear![/p][p][/p]
Twitch Drops: Costumes
[p]We’re excited to bring a closet of silly costumes as Twitch Drops return for Two Point Museum. Channels streaming the game can now opt in to these fabulous staff costumes, meaning you lovely viewers can earn free stuff whilst watching them curate. Drops are available for all players to earn, on both PC & console.[/p][p][/p][p]Watch your favourite streamers from now until 7th August 2025 at 15:00 BST to grab these costumes celebrating the release of update 4.0. You can check out the full instructions on how to redeem drops (or set them up if you're streaming here.

The items do not offer any unfair bonuses to gameplay; they’re cosmetics for your staff members.[/p][p][/p]
Scaling Staff Ads
[p]If you’re keen to jump into adventuring as quickly as possible, speed-run gathering your party of Wizards, Rogues and Bards by hiring multiple experts at once. When posting for a manual job ad, you can now select whether to advertise or 1, 2 or 3 roles at once - no more waiting around for job ads to become available.[/p][p][/p][p]We know how frustrating it is to play the negative trait lottery when hiring for roles, so not only can you now advertise for multiple positions at once, but we’ve also had an overhaul of the expert traits table so things are a little more balanced now, and experts will be less likely to have more than one negative trait.[/p][p][/p]
Botany-themed Humidifier & Heater
[p]Whilst not completely invisible, these camouflaged utility items lend themselves to creating immersive botany displays for your guests to enjoy. These items are now available in career mode and become available once the “Overgrowth Jungle” point of interest is unlocked in the Two Point Sea expedition map.[/p][p][/p][p]As usual, this update also comes with a load of bug fixes, improvements and optimisation changes. [/p][p]Thank you all (again!) for providing feedback, sending us your ideas, reporting bugs and giving us suggestions for new content. If you’d like to send us your thoughts for future content or updates, or show us your fab museums, here’s the place to do that: [/p]

(P.S. One of the best things you can do to help support the studio is to leave a Steam Review! If you’ve tried your hand at curating, we’d love to hear your feedback. Thank you![/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]

Two Point Museum is already one of the most enjoyable management sims I've played, spinning its theme down some wonderfully silly avenues that let you curate exhibitions of ghosts and giant carnivorous plants. Now, publisher SEGA has announced an expansion that will add another range of bizarre artifacts to discover and display, this time with the theme of swords, sorcery, dragons and quite possibly dungeons too...
[p]The Fantasy Finds campaign unlocks during your museum career after completing Memento Mile Act 1, the first city location. The content is also available in sandbox mode from the beginning of the game.[/p][p]Some Points of Interest may have extra requirements, for example, you can’t discover Marine Life exhibits until you unlock aquariums and their equipment in Act 1 of Passwater Cove.[/p]
What about a new museum level?
[p]We’re excited to share that a new level is coming, free for all players. This new museum is set in the Arctic, atop the Pointy Mountains. We plan to release this as part of update 4.0.[/p][p]Pointy Mountains is designed to be the final act of the base game, and has five story acts whose story ties into the very first introduction you hear from Hayley Von Trowel. The level will test your curating skills, requiring Curator Class VII to play. It has the largest "square footage" of all our levels, slightly bigger than Memento Mile (City).[/p]
That includes hiring the new Fantasy Expert, as well as completing the first few stages of the new Fantasy Enlightenment track to unlock some new decor and one new interactive display. Everything from the first three POIs will be included in the base game; it’s not a demo, so you keep everything you discover or unlock![/p]

[p]Yes! Fantasy Finds will include three new achievements to earn.[/p]
What about the Nintendo Switch 2 release?

If you've been loving the game and haven't already done so, it makes a HUGE difference to the studio if you could leave us a Steam review (and we love reading them).[/p][p]
We're only a few reviews away from Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (which makes a big impact in things like visibility, which is why I ask! :D)[/p][p]
Hope you're all doing well, and take care,
Abby & the Two Point Team
