What's the best Warhammer game you've ever played? There's a lot of love for Space Marine 2 at the moment but, despite loving calling in a Dreadnought in Siege Mode, I think recency bias might be at play here. Do you remember whiling away the hours playing Dawn of War? The Soulstorm DLC in particular was my jam, but that whole first game was a masterpiece encased in ceramite armour. However, there might be one game that surpasses it. Owlcat Games' Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader has so many opportunities for roleplay that it has every right to be called the best Warhammer game ever made. Hotfix 1.4.1.231 is live!

Lord Captains, we're releasing another hotfix today, which gives some buffs to the familiars and fixes a number of bugs.

As usual, consoles will receive this update with a possible delay of up to 24-48 hours.

All familiars have received a significant boost to starting stats, more than 2x increase for some;
Fixed dodge penetration on familiar natural weapons. They will now hit way more consistently;
Returned the missing protocol for the Cyber-Mastiff to a loot container on Footfall;
Fixed an issue that caused dialogue with the Adeptus Arbites at Leethus to break under certain circumstances;
Fixed a broken option in Abelard's dialogue before the Epitaph that caused the dialogue to end abruptly;

Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader fixes Yrliet romance and other, less important stuff

When players hear the words 'Owlcat RPG,' many immediately think of one word: romance. In fact, developers have told me in the past that no game they produced would be a true Owlcat RPG if romance wasn't involved. Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader is no different. Despite the inability to romance our mechadendrite-endowed friend Pasqal, players have thrown themselves at nearly every other companion possible. However, there was a pretty major bug with Yrliet's romance, and thankfully it's now been squashed. Beware, as major spoilers for romancing the Aeldari ranger follow.
