Deluge: Sermon for the Dead News

Over the years since release, we've been gradually replacing all AI-art placeholders from the game with human drawn art. This update completes that process, meaning that all game assets are now 100% human made.

We've just released a big update to the Deluge: Raintime demo. This update includes:

- Countless fixes big and small
- 19 Steam Achievements
- Spanish, Japanese and Russian translations
- New and improved artwork

We've been working tirelessly over the past months to get this game somewhat ready for Next fest, and for that reason we haven't communicated much about the contents of the game. The idea is that Deluge: Raintime will act as both a predecessor and an epilogue to the Deluge Chronicles. This current demo we're releasing contains the first chapter of a story about a college student who goes to Bremersberg University, a few years before the occurrences of Deluge: Threnody of Crashing Waves, and who is slowly driven to madness by the presence of the lake.

[p]The Mei Ending DLC for Deluge: Sermon for the Dead is out now! 🍻 [/p][p][/p][p]This DLC adds a full ending route to the game for Mei's character, including two new endings (1 bad, 1 good ending). This leaves Deluge: SftD with a grand total of ten different endings.[/p][p][/p][p]Initially, it was our goal to add Mei's ending route to the main game. But due to the workload of making a game of that size, we had to leave her ending out of the completed game. We fixed the compatibility error that surfaced yesterday. Everything is running well now. Same game, smaller filesize.

DLC coming out later today.

Due to an mismatch between Renpy and Steam SDK versions we have to rollback this latest release. We'll need a little more time to fix this issue, but hopefully the DLC will release in the next couple of days.
