File #14 // May Update + Guadalindie Recap

Hey there, awesome gang:
We hope spring is treating you well—with sunshine, good vibes, and maybe a picnic or two! Can you believe we’re almost halfway through the year? Time’s flying faster than Jack dashing through Neo Barcelona!
We’ve been hard at work on Altered Alma, and we’re excited to share what’s new. So let’s dive right in!
Málaga was great!!

🧪 Welcome back to Parc Güell…
Get ready to explore one of the most striking areas in Altered Alma—Parc Güell. Inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s iconic real-world park, this biome offers a vibrant burst of lush greenery and surreal, organic architecture. Twisting pathways, hidden secrets, and dreamlike structures create a striking contrast to Neo Barcelona’s usual cyberpunk sprawl.
Parc Güell is home to the Shallari, a fiercely orthodox community who have rejected the neon-soaked ways of the outside world. Centered around their communal egg nest, the Shallari live with one single purpose: to protect the purity and survival of their kind—at any cost.

Brutal, dogmatic, and deadly, many Shallari can recite twenty-six different ways to kill a person, but might not know how to make a sandwich. They shun cybernetics, considering both augmentation and exile equally impure. Those who leave Parc Güell often embrace the very tech their kin despise, becoming a divisive presence among the Shallari diaspora.
🧑‍🚀 Waiting for you!
Red Rosie, the best armorer of Neo Barcelona gets bored a little easy, if she’s not fighting, you may find her making, tweaking or upgrading the weaponry system on the ship. Will you say hi to Rosie?
Here is a quick shot of our favorite Psycho armorer. ❤️
