Patch 1.3.1 | LUNCH LADY Crossover

Juicy Update today: The Lunch Lady is back!

[h3]Patch 1.3.1: Lunch Lady Crossover[/h3]
  • New Map: Classified Incident - "Lunch Lady's Lair" (Cruxville Junior High)
  • New Objective: Repair broken Pipes
  • New Equipment: Pipe Wrench
  • New Objective: Squash Cockroaches
  • New Equipment: Roach-Removal-Device (in some circles it's called a 'shoe')
  • New Perk: Completionist Disorder - Gives you the ability to sense all remaining objectives once you cleaned at least 90%
  • Several New Character Skins to unlock
  • Added an Unstuck Button to the Pause Menu
  • Added new Achievements for Entity Banishment
  • Added a 'Claim All' Button to the Achievement Task Tab
  • Adjusted Hard Difficulty - Entities no longer hunt all the time but will hunt more frequent than on Normal Difficulty, also increased Entity Chase Movement Speed on Hard Difficulty. Reduced Hard Difficulty Reward Multiplier from x2 -> x1.5
  • fixed several objective spawn collision issues on all maps
  • fixed an issue that caused some players to be unable to unlock certain Achievements
  • drastically improved game performance by implementing logic that disables dynamic shadows based on distance and reduced overall shadow resolution
  • fixed a bug causing incorrect match times
  • quite possibly some more tweaks/fixes/changes I forgot about

1.2.1 Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]adjusted several objective spawn locations on 'Summer Camp'[/p]
  • [p]tweaked several collision issues on 'Summer Camp'[/p]
  • [p]doubled controller/steam deck sensitivity[/p]
  • [p]fixed an issue causing players to be able to enter the closet in the Lookout Tower on 'Summer Camp' through the wall[/p]
  • [p]fixed an AI pathing issue on 'Butchers Nest' causing the entity to not navigate properly in the torture chamber[/p][p][/p]

Patch 1.2.0 | New Map: Summer Camp

[h2]Hi everyone!
[/h2][p]I added another map, fixed some bugs and added some QoL stuff. Enjoy :)

1.2.0 Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]New Map: Summer Camp[/p]
  • [p]added map bounds collision to all maps. You can now just yeet trash bags in the general direction of the skip without having to worry about bricking your run[/p]
  • [p]Changed AI Behavior: Instead of aimlessly wandering around the map searching for players, entities will now periodically investigate certain points of interest. They will feel more active now and won't just camp one area of the map.[/p]
  • [p]added an internal save backup system with several save files that repair eachother to prevent save file corruption[/p]
  • [p]added additional failsafes to prevent physics objects from falling through the floor, and if they do, teleport them back to the surface[/p]
  • [p]Paranormal Cleanup is now officially "Steam Deck Playable"[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]fixed an issue causing the 'Spidey Sense' Perk to not work properly on Clients[/p]
  • [p]reduced a couple Perk Level Requirements and Prices that weren't properly adjusted when I changed the Perk Tree a couple patches ago[/p]
  • [p]fixed an issue causing entities to play their chase sound effects on loop even when not chasing anymore[/p]
  • [p]adjusted several collisions to fix ectoplasm / satanic symbol interaction problems[/p][p][/p]

Patch 1.1.1 | Proximity Voice Fix, Black Screen Fix, Physics Optimization

[/h2][p]Just a lil update today, trying once again to fix some annoying bugs

1.1.1 Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Made changes to how proximity voice is implemented, in hopes to fix a bug causing some players to hear the host all the time, regardless of location[/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug causing players to not spawn in properly, getting stuck with just a black screen[/p]
  • [p]tweaked Physics Settings and added additional background code to further optimize physics performance and fix desync and collision issues[/p]
  • [p]you can join sessions mid-match again[/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug causing private lobbies to pop up in the server browser [/p]

Patch 1.1.0 | Voice+Noise Meter, 5 Perk Slots, Tab Menu, Bug Fixes

[h2]Hi everyone![/h2][p]This is a little update to add some quality of life features, make the game more fun and to fix some more bugs.

1.1.0 Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Added a Noise Meter to display the amount of noise you make with your actions (and voice)[/p]
  • [p]All Entities now hear Voice Chat and will react to it[/p]
  • [p]There are now 5 Perk slots instead of 3, unlocked one after another at player levels 2, 4, 8, 10, 15[/p]
  • [p]Added 4 new Perks:[/p]
    • [p]Long Arms: Increases Interaction Range by up to 50%[/p]
    • [p]Stronk: Increases Throw Distance by up to 200% (careful lol)[/p]
    • [p]Bodylight: Much requested, Attach a flashlight to your body which is always active and doesn't take up an inventory slot[/p]
    • [p]Spidey Sense: Gain the ability to sense the Entity when it starts hunting for up to 20 seconds.[/p]
  • [p]Panic Pro Perk was bugged and was active all the time (giving +150% cleaning speed 24/7, what the hell) instead of just being active when an entity is nearby.[/p]
  • [p]Added a Tab-Button Menu: Shows Player info (who has which key, player name, level, prestige)[/p]
    • [p]The Tab Menu also shows your own keys as a little inventory from which you can drop keys[/p]
  • [p]Energy Drink Rework: Previously, energy drinks only refilled your stamina. That was very situational and didn't feel very powerful or fun. They now additionally grant a buff that increases movement speed by a percentage for a duration. Previously players needed an extra perk for that, instead that perk now drastically increases the power and duration of the buff.[/p]
  • [p]Cult carnage entities hunt duration increased to 90seconds (was 60). Cult Carnage Maps are bigger so their entities just need some additional time to lurk around[/p]
  • [p]Physics Tweaks to fix annoying bugs (fingers crossed)[/p]
  • [p]A new Outfit for all characters + recolors, available at Prestige 1[/p]
  • [p]reworked UV Light logic, deleted a lot of unnecessary stuff, it works simpler now and it just works better because of that.[/p]
  • [p]fixed several bugged spawn locations for cult symbols and ectoplasms[/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug causing the match to not end when all players are knocked down[/p]
  • [p]you can no longer join matches mid match because it caused tons of issues[/p]
  • [p]player names above the characters heads are now visible in the lobby, too[/p]
  • [p]fixed an issue causing some keybinds not to work properly
