Just some odd & ends!

[p][/p][p]One last bonus devlog! Not everything we had fit into our prior devlogs, so we're sharing them here! We've also got a couple of demo recommendations, since our launch bundle didn't quite work the way we wanted it to. To see the rest of our devlogs, check out our Steam page below:[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

[p][/p][p][/p]
Here are two free demos you can check out right now!
[p][/p][p]As part of our launch campaign, we teamed up with an incredible line-up of games that really resonated with the ideas & themes found in STARWEAVE. Two of those games didn't quite get the spotlight we wanted, as demos don't factor into Steam bundles (despite being able to add them to the bundle! Valve pls fix), and while we couldn't quite include them there, we thought we should highlight them here:[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
WHODUNNIT: Episode One - Hitting Singles
[p]STEAM PAGE | BLUESKY[/p][p][/p]
[p]"WHODUNNIT: Hitting Singles is the first episode of a comedic mystery visual novel following a man who must answer a burning question: who the hell did he hook up with last night?[/p][p]Conduct investigations through point-and-click mechanics, interrogate a large cast of characters, and cobble together theories as "regular guy" Howie Falk chases down the ghost of his own gay virginity."[/p]
[p][/p][p]I don't have much to add to that incredible description. A fantastic and relatable premise that lets you check it out for free, and episode one will get its hooks into you. Go give it a download, and I think you'll end up falling in love with its cast, too.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
MEMORALYSIS: The Scorched Home
[p]STEAM PAGE | BLUESKY[/p][p][/p][p]With some incredible art and a grounded premise that feels familiar, you might think you know MEMORALYSIS at a first glance. The demo will prove you wrong. What begins as a simple home call for a detective unravels into a web of intrigue that calls you to piece it all together, with the help of some... powers of the psychic persuasion. [/p][p][/p][p]WHODUNNIT, MEMORALYSIS, STARWEAVE... we're all just games that like to be capitalized. 😌[/p][p]
Okay, now go download those demos, play them, and leave a review! (Reviews really help games on Steam!)[/p][p][/p]

Now about those odds & ends...
[p][/p][p]When I first started as the marketing manager, Rachel and the team started giving me access to their internal files and folders. While you've seen most of what I uncovered, a few gems remain. Here they are in all their glory:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][c]Dreamer cozy on the couch! All is well! Nothing bad has ever happened to Dreamer.[/c][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][c]Lighthouse cozy by the window! My headcanon is that Lighthouse and Dreamer are safe and cozy together, forever. (Let me have this)[/c][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][c]Rachel has had these characters in mind for a long time! (Since 2008!) Look at ole' Troubydouby. [/p][p][c]Blackguard has always been like this (complimentary).[/c][/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][c]Early black and white sketches of our character art.[/c][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][c]A poster we made for a GDC event that happened to take place on our launch day![/c][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][c]We love placeholder asset. I was originally concered about who gave Troubadour sparklers, but they also gave him mitts so he's safe.[/c][/p][p][/p][p]Thank you to everyone who has checked out the game, left a review, and told their friends about the game! I'm a late-comer to the team, but I truly believe the dev team made something really special with STARWEAVE, and I am grateful to help share it with the world.
🌙 Stay safe, sleepers, and dream big,
Colin
Marketing Manager
[/p][p][/p]

[p][c]Ever since he first step foot on LEGO Island, Colin (he/they) has spent a lot of their free time in digital simulacrums of fantasy worlds. To the surprise of his parents, he found work in helping hold open the doors to these new places, and sharing the wonders within. When they aren’t trying to find new ways to bring games to people, he is delving into them himself. Currently, Colin runs the community marketing agency Astro Scout - which has worked on games like Ambrosia Sky, Greenhearth Necromancer, Terrible Lizards, Everspace 2 and of course, STARWEAVE. [/c][/p][p][/p][p][c]He is also often joined by his two cats, Council and Griswald. They (Colin, not the cats) can also often be found tinkering with tabletop, and considering a second coffee table to house the numerous tomes he picks up along the way.[/c][/p]
