The dwarven realms are abuzz as the crisp winds of autumn arrive, bringing with them exciting new changes and challenges. A highly anticipated feature, the live DPS meter, is now available, allowing you to track your damage output in real time during battles. In addition, Wisdom has elevated its crucial role in enhancing your healing power, making it an even more vital stat for support-focused dwarves. To complement this change, a powerful new Wisdom-scaling artifact has been introduced, giving healers a valuable tool to boost their abilities.

The amount of gems obtained from battles and daily quests has been significantly increased. Veteran dwarves will also notice a rework of their passive abilities, offering fresh strategies and greater flexibility in combat. As the season turns, the first set of leaderboards and challenges for Season 1 is now live, where you can compete and prove your worth among the strongest in the realm.
Alongside these major updates, we've implemented a variety of quality-of-life improvements and balance adjustments to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all adventurers.

*New Features*

- Added DPS meter for Dwarves and Orcs
-- Added button to show/hide DPS meter on top of the battlefield HP bars
-- DPS meter windows can be dragged to the desired position
-- You can use the mouse wheel to scroll through the DPS meter
- Added new 'Season' leaderboard system:
-- Leaderboards will now reset for each new 'Season'
-- When creating a new clan, it will be assigned the current Season
-- Clans from an older season can still be played but cannot enter the leaderboards
-- There are 3 leaderboards based on victories (min. 10): Loot, Glory, Death
-- There is 1 challenge leaderboard: Ice Wyvern Eradication (Death)
-- Clans with a desertation cannot enter the leaderboards
-- Highscores will now also work in 'Eternal' mode
- Added button to turn off card flip animations
- Added bookmark feature to show preferred card deck after battle

- Added 2 new Veteran Passives:
-- Spirited: 5% chance to restore 10% max health and become drunk for 10 seconds when taking damage.
-- Reckless: Take 25% more damage and deal 50% more damage.
- Added tooltips to dwarf portraits on the battlefield
-- Hover over a dwarf to activate
-- Shows level, kills and how many times each artifact was activated
- Added 'Basic' Biome to be shown on item cards that can be found everywhere
- Added Gold and Gem reward indicators to result screen
- The dwarves can now hoard more gold than the integer limit (2 billion)

*Changes and QoL*

- Increased Daily Quest gem reward from 75 to 100
- Increased gems granted by victories (multipliers for Glory and Death apply)
-- Battle 10 will now grant 5 base gems (up from 1)
-- Battle 20 will now grant 6 base gems (up from 2)
-- Battle 30 will now grant 7 base gems (up from 3)
-- Battle 100 will now grant 14 base gems (up from 10)
-- Battle 110 and higher will now grant 15 base gems (up from 10)
- Changes to WISDOM:
-- All healing magic now directly scales with Wisdom instead of Intelligence
-- Warpriest damage scaling changed to STR + WIS
-- Reduced mana regeneration per second from 0.5 to 0.25 per Wisdom
- Priests and Supporters will now heal if a wounded ally is nearby instead of requiring close enemies
- Increased 'Call of the Rimu' Ultimate healing power scaling from x1 to x2
- Artifact 'Kakapo Egg' requirement decreased from 5 to 4 berries eaten
- Supporter's 'Rally' and 'Bannerlords' is now affected by increases to heal
- Reduced Supporter's 'Rally' base healing from 5% to 4% of max health
- Reworked 6 Veteran Passives:
-- Sharp: +10% crit chance. Critical hits execute targets below 10% max health.
-- Quick Learner: +25% battle exp gained. Kills grant 1 additional EXP and beer for the Tavern.
-- Prodigy: +1 extra class stat every 4 levels. Grants +1 extra class stat after battle if most kills were achieved.
-- Wise: +15% mana regeneration. Ultimates cost 20% less mana.
-- Agile: +0.25 attack speed. Basic attacks or heals have a 20% chance to apply double damage or healing.
-- Fast Reflexes: +10% dodge. 50% chance to dodge fatal damage.
- Updated special card design to look more distinct from base cards
- Changed all forest sprites to autumn
- Reworked the 'Avatar of Fire' Ultimate and updated its description
- Shield buff will now be reflected in the Character Portrait health bar
- Slightly increased base damage of 'Warblade' and 'Battle Axe'
- 'Storm Cowl' and 'Storm Shoulders' are now available to all professions
- 'Djinn Set' now has Wisdom instead of Intelligence
- 'Mug of Everlasting Bock' now grants +1 WIS and +1 STA on use
- Updated description of 'Healing Rain' (no functional changes)
- Cards can no longer accidentally be unlocked with left click
- Upgrading the shop will now also reroll the current item cards
- Rerolling a Rare Orc battle or Treasure will now also cause the Event Prompt if enabled
- Lowered chance of 'Storm Set' to fork 'Kugelblitz' from 20% to 15%
- 'Kugelblitz' effect changed to have double crit chance against shocked targets
- Scaling Artifacts now also apply if an animal companion triggers the effect (e.g. Blood Necklace)
- Setting 'Effect Details' in Video Settings to 'low' will now disable most spell visuals
- Changed lock symbol on Battle Cards since you cannot lock them like Items/Recruits
- Items can now also be dragged onto the disassemble button (same behavior as sell button)
- Changed location of Reaper (Ruins), Warlock (Ruins) and Cannoneer (Cave) gear to better match item modifiers
- Added a victory message when beating the final boss
- Decreased base cost of Ring of Blood from 7000 to 5000 gold
- Changed 'Mug of Everlasting Bock' base price from 8000 to 6000
- Changed 'Pickaxe' base price from 12000 to 9000
- Changes to 'Gold Ore':
-- Increases Elemental Resistances by 15 - 35
-- Increases Weight by 15% - 35%
-- Grants an additional 50 - 100 gold multiplied by the level of the wearer for every level the wearer gains in battle
-- Now sells for the same amount as its buy price instead of the usual 33%
- Added item biome info to shop upgrade tooltip
- Added more info to Eternal mode description
- Changed Forge modifier rolls for weight to a flat value (30, 35 or 40)
- Increased minimum Forge modifier roll for 'Life Regen' from 5 to 6
- Veteran dwarves will now have a distinct background in the Inventory and Tavern
- Added foreground to forest battlefield
- Updated debuff symbol for 'Shocked'
- Stuck arrows will now also be displayed as a debuff on the dwarf portraits during battle

- Fixed a bug where 'Phoenix Feather' could not be obtained in 'Death (Hard)' mode
- Fixed a bug where the mana regeneration modifier would not be applied correctly
- Fixed an issue where Recruit Cards would not stay locked sometimes
- Fixed an issue where Beastmasters could equip Knight offhands
- Fixed some issues with the random states of the cards not being saved correctly
- Fixed a bug with the hotkey for locking Runes
- Fixed an issue with the Veteran reroll button
- Fixed an issue where victories in endless mode would not count towards the achievement
- Fixed an issue where Recruits could be wrongly shown with the 'Berserker' Passive
- Fixed an issue where using the Hotkey for rerolling in the Forge would deduct double gold
- Fixed some issues where the cursor would show the wrong icon
- Fixed some issues where the Hotkey settings for certain buttons would not work correctly
- Fixed an issue where the expected growth from 'Prodigy' was not correctly shown

- Fixed a bug where damage caused by the Storm Wyvern's Mirror Scales would count for the dwarf
