We're excited to announce that The Cursed Pharaoh Update for Dark Hours is now available for everyone!
This major update brings plenty of new content, including planned features, highly requested features from the community, and a few surprises!

Get ready to be chased by a brand-new creature: the Mummy. This terrifying monster loves watching you and slowly closing in to impale you with its blade!

What better place than a Museum to line your pockets? A brand-new heist environment, The Museum, is now available to explore. Enjoy a set of 16 different layouts to make each of your heists unique! Time to plan your next big score!

The boss wanted to strengthen our crew. So he brought in this new recruit. Consider them one of us! You now have the choice between two types of burglars!

[h2]🤝Quickplay feature[/h2]
Assemble a team of professional burglars faster than the speed of light! By popular demand, we’ve added a quick matchmaking system to make it easier to form groups.
Note: The servers will be active starting tomorrow.

[h2]🎒Stay stylish while you steal![/h2]
Wanted to switch up your backpack? This update is for you! You can now customize your backpacks!

[h2]🧯Discover new playable items![/h2]
While we already had a hairdryer and a foghorn, what else could we possibly add to the game? Well, it’s simple:

• Coffee: Grab a cup, place it in the coffee machine, and enjoy a nice hot brew!
  
• Extinguisher: What could you possibly do with this during a heist? I’ll let you figure that out!
  
• Defibrillator: You can now revive a teammate who died too soon. Just be careful—it’s charged with electricity, so don’t shock someone who’s still alive!
  

[h2]🙋‍♀️Allo? Allo??[/h2]
You wanted a way to communicate in the game without micro, and now it’s here! Check out our brand-new tag feature and fresh emotes.

[h2]🏃🏿‍♂️ Golden Tag game mode?[/h2]
But what's the "Golden Tag"? We wanted to introduce a lighter, more fun game mode to play between heists! Your goal is to keep the title for as long as possible! Your opponents can take it from you by pushing you. Anything goes.

[h2]🎮Some Improvements[/h2]
We’ve improved the keybinding interface to make it smoother and more user-friendly! To prevent you from getting completely stuck when choosing contracts, we’ve also added a countdown! Other minor improvements have also been made based on your feedback!



This update will be the last major one for 2024, but it’s definitely not the last we have planned for Dark Hours!. Starting in 2025. more updates are planned so get ready for more features to come!

A lot of content is coming with this update and following the playtest players feedback of this week we've decided to push a little further the polish of this major update. We want to make sure you get the best experience possible when the update is released!

Our major update playtest session has now officially ended, and I want to thank each and every one of you who joined us over these two days! We hope you all enjoyed the experience and had as much fun testing those new features as we did working on them.

Your feedback on Discord and the Steam forums has been incredibly valuable and will help us fine-tune these features for the major update. The team is already diving in to put the final polish on it before its release in just a few days!

Hey everyone,

We initially planned to end the playtest tonight, but we've decided to extend it by an additional 24 hours! In addition to this extension, we are also updating the playtest based on your feedback and introducing new features!



[h2]Here’s what’s new:[/h2]

• The monster has been improved, fixing some disappearance bugs and other glitches.
  
• You can now defend yourself against this new monster, at least temporarily!
  
• Quickplay Feature: We are aware that the "Quickplay" feature may be encountering issues, and we are actively working to resolve the problem!
  
• We've introduced a new item into the game. I won't spoil the surprise, but I think you'll love it!
  
• Other blocking bugs have also been patched, including those related to the defibrillator.

As mentioned above, you only have 24 hours left to participate! To join, simply go to the Dark Hours Steam page and click "Request Access" and you'll automatically get access!
