VetVR Update 2/27/2024

Hello everyone!
VetVR has a new update for you all to check out. To celebrate VetVR will go on a 20% sale for a week starting on 2/28. We thank you all for your patience as we worked on this update.

New Scenarios:
- Anesthesia Machine Setup
- Bain System
- Circle System
- Alaska Scenario

Changes:
- Vital Monitor has been completely reworked. If it went well you shouldn't notice much differences but there may be bugs we are unaware of. Please let us know if you find any
- Phone can be activated with the grip to give a hint (previously only could be while using the ray)
- New projector model for tutorials
- Drug UI now displays how drugs affect the vitals of the dog
- A new friend is in the lobby
- IV system updated to use a simpler version

Notes:
- The first three scenarios listed are tutorials for the exam for those who were interested in taking it.
- For our next update, we plan on adding more scenarios involving taking care of dogs with already taught aspects and less tutorials.

We will be going back to work on more scenarios. The next update should hopefully come out much sooner than this one. Going forward the updates will most likely focus on 1-2 scenarios rather than how big this one ended up being. We hope to have some news for you soon!

STEAM SUMMER SALE

Hi Veterinarians!

VetVR is on sale for 20% off for the duration of the Steam Summer Sale!
We've also got a big update in the works, but it's not quite ready yet unfortunately. There's a lot of changes that we needed to put some extra time to be sure everything is working properly. We apologize for the delay, but hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

In the meantime, we hope you all enjoy the game!

Update Notes for April 28th, 2023

- There was an inconsistency in objects highlighting when hovered over, we decided to remove the highlighting
- phone now uses 3d sound
- Maya and Mooncake scenarios should now alert you if you don't properly dispose of splinter/quills (level requires splinter/quill to be put in trash tray)
- Stethoscope Level now more clear and should be more responsive
- Should be notified when new levels are unlocked
- Mooncake and Maya scenarios have slight changes to using the tweezers to hopefully be more accurate
- Skip all added to dialogue
- clicking in the left thumbstick allows you to arc teleport
- Wrist UI is larger (to help legibility)
- Removed innacurate labels in Atlas Scenario
- Bonuses now have hints in patient info

Bug fixes:
- heart rate and pulse should be available on every level
- various wording fixes/changes in text
- Bruce should go through full petting animation

- All levels with Medication should properly play the medication administering sound
- If you close the wrist menu while the blood related information is loading it will fill the image instead of staying cut off
- Mooncake Scenario has stethoscope
- Patient info and drug calculation won't display wrong info if you move the clipboard
- Ring Toy has collision noises
- Listening to a heartbeat no longer has a preemptive "good work"
- You can go back to the heartbeat slide after going to the lung slide in the Stethoscope Tutorial
- Capnography level won't uncomplete after closing the game (will require you to rebeat it)
- Removed softlock with Ultrasound Level
- Blue Tubes that start connected should properly work now

Notes:
- We are aware and looking into why sometimes the Maya level incorrectly tells you that a step was skipped. I believe this should be working much better now but let us know if you are still experiencing this issue.
- New level notifications are going to activate each time you enter the lobby until you are caught up, this is not a bug.
- Next major update is coming and will have more scenarios
