World Update, Resources, and Bug Fixes
Hello Lords and Ladies!
We're now T-Plus 6 Days since our Early Access Release on Steam and whoo it was a roller coaster. After EA release last Friday we got a influx of players that led to server issues, causing crashes and disruptions, after pulling an all nighter Friday and Saturday we released minor patch 1.01a, and then later that week another minor patch 1.01b to address bugs and glitches within our server software.
We're proud to announce our first major update, v1.02 of RivenWorld! This update address a lot of things within the world, and will add additional areas to explore and journey into.
With this new map we've added 2 additional lakes, 1 river and a different resource node distribution to encourage exploration and adventure through the world.
The map has also been overhauled, and we've added a road system to help players navigate the world!
Along with the world update, we've added 2 new light sources, and made the night time a bit brighter so everyone can see!
Oil Chandelier
Craft a bed and simply press your [q] key to bind your soul to the bed. As long as the bed is not destroyed you will respawn at your bed location when you die.

+ Added Wall Oil Lamp to Anvil
+ Added Oil Chandelier to Anvil
+ Added Player Join/ Leave Messages
+ You can now punch trees to get logs at random
+ Regen of the ground layer every 6 hours
+ Water Well
+ Rain Catching Station
+ /stuck command
+ /g command for inner guild chat
+ ESC/ TAB to close menus
+ Added carpenter bench
+ Add recipe to carpenter bench to split logs into sticks
Changes:
~ Slowed down movement when holding a weapon or tool
~ Adjusted weather system to be more fluid/ real
~ Re-distributed the resource nodes around the map
~ Moved Stand Oil Lamp to the Anvil
~ Increased the oil burn time on the lamps
~ Water Buckets have durability
~ Moved communication from UDP to TCP due to user firewall issues with NAT
~ Guild Members can now use the hammer to remove anything on guild land
~ Moved wooden materials to the carpenter bench
Bug Fixes:
~ Adjusted Fall Damage to not effect you if on the ground
~ Fixed the forge to not eat mats on server restart
~ Fixed decay
~ Loot bags now despawn after 30 minutes
~ Fixed river ambient sound
~ Fixed the king chest from deleting
~ Fixed multiple swimming bugs
~ Fixed material returns on high-grade tools
~ Fixed one-hit on armor different armor types
~ Adjusted and fixed the player hitbox
