Patch note Version: [ 1.2.12.3 ]



[h3]Update content[/h3]

1) Gameplay changes:
  • Changed the basic mechanics for Shields: Shields are no longer unlimited and instead have a gauge.
  • Changed the ruling on own goals so that if an opponent touches a 3-pointer just before it is scored, it is no longer awarded as 2 points.
  • Reduced the size of the ball generator as it was deemed to be obstructive to the view when playing the game.
  • The maximum angle for tilt-pitch is also now configurable in the parameters.
  • Changed the design of the in-game UI.
  • Fixed Perks:
  • Defense last Perks: changed to Charged Grab
  • Defense 2nd Perks: changed to Increased Shield Power
  • Balance 1st Perks: changed to Increased Invulnerability Time on Ball Grab
2) Changes based on feedback:
  • Fixed a bug where Grab cooldowns would not reset if you used a Grab in practice area just before a match starts.
  • Fixed a bug where the ball generator would not spawn balls.
  • Fixed a bug where the character would automatically rotate when the ball was taken away.

1) Gameplay changes:
  • You can now see your username on the Quick Match team intro screen.
  • Changed the criteria by which the character rotates when steering in the air.
  • Added 6 more steps to the Guided Quest, totaling 10 steps.
  • Added option to change the maximum angle for Left and Right Tilt.
  • Added option to change the rotation start speed value for Forward and Backward Tilt.
  • Added the option to change the rotation start speed value for Left and Right Tilt.
2) Changes based on feedback:
  • Added the ability to change maximum speed, acceleration, nitro recovery, and goal height in Private Match settings.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the ball to go off the map.
  • Fixed a bug where you could not start a game if you were the party leader on PS and joined a party with another platform user.
  • Reduced the range that characters (other than the character who collided with the ball) could be knocked back when in Power Swing or Shielded.
  • Fixed a bug where the quest completion notification would continue to appear after completing step 10 of the Seasonal Quest.
3) Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where flipping through subcategories in a locker would take you to accessories.

1) Gameplay changes:
  • The Basic Tutorial is gone and Academy Mode is here.
  • In Academy mode, you'll learn Layups, Dash Passes, Saves, and Side Swing Passes in addition to the maneuvers taught in the Basic Tutorial.
  • You'll need to play Basic AI Match, which is Academy level 6, before you can access Quick Matches and Private Matches.
2) Changes based on feedback:
  • We've reduced the window of time a user can join a Quick Match to reduce the likelihood of a user joining a match that is already heavily gapped.

1) Gameplay changes:
  • The Basic Tutorial was deemed too difficult for new players, so we've lowered its difficulty.
  • Guide Quests were deemed too difficult for new players, so we've lowered their difficulty.
  • Added a feature that recommends users who are not yet your friends.
  • Added a quick chat feature in the lobby.
  • Added 3 new skin colors... (black, red, yellow)
  • Added a shortcut link to the lobby announcement banner.
  • Added an event banner for Christmas gifts in the lobby.
  • We've added the ability to praise teammates you've played with on the game results screen. You can only compliment the same user once per hour. When you receive a compliment, your Honor level increases. You will receive rewards based on your Honor level.
2) Changes based on feedback:
  • We've nerfed the Dash Stun Perk because we feel it's too OP, and now you won't lose the ball you're holding when you get Dash stunned.

[h3]Update content[/h3]

1) Gameplay changes:
  • Reduced the difficulty of the Basic Tutorial.
  • We've added the ability to import your friend's customizations and perks as a bot. You can add this bot to your party at any time, regardless of whether they are actually playing to Metaball or not.
  • After a game ends, the teammates you last played with will appear in the lobby. You can choose to add them as friends or party with them.
2) Changes based on feedback:
  • We have expanded the range of matchmaking research with a limit to not cause discomfort to the game. You can now play Quick Match with a wider variety of people.
  • We've added a new UI for creating parties, leaving parties, and kicking out party members. You can now select the party menu in the lobby more easily.
