[Developer's Note #4] Chibi TSURU-chan (temporary)!!
Hi, this is the development team of 213°F.
In the last issue of "Development Note #3", we introduced the process of completing the design of the main character TSURU-chan (temporary),This time, we would like to introduce the process up to the point where TSURU-chan (temporary) starts to move in the game!
Once again, here is TSURU-chan (temporary) on the game screen. Her head height and other features are different from her original design!
This version of TSURU-chan (temporary) was also created by drawing a new design. Of course, it was created by the character designer, KUROBOSHI KOUHAKU!
It all started with a single rough illustration like this one. The rough illustration was first applied to a tentative game screen image.
Here it is!
From the initial design stage like this, the size and height of the head are adjusted with an eye to how TSURU-chan (temporary) will look on the actual game screen.
Based on the adjusted screen image, we finally proceed with the design toward completion!
First, TSURU-chan (temporary) is drawn with only lines and then ...
There it is colored and done!
How do you like it?
In order to ensure that the characters' features and charms are not lost even if their heads are changed from the original design, character designer KUROBOSHI KOUHAKU himself designed Chibi versions of each character in the game.
We can't wait to introduce the other characters to you at ..., but that will have to wait for another time!
Once the design for the Chibi version is completed like this, the next thing to do seems to be ...!
