Hotfix 1.2.5 available!

[p]Happy new year, Crafters![/p][p][/p][p]We hope y'all have had a great holiday season. We're back at work and happy to bring some quick fixes for you, as we prepare for a bigger update that's hopefully already coming in this month![/p][p][/p][p]Here's the list of fixes:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some quests in endless mode being drawn multiple times[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the cursor getting stuck in "grabbing" mode after smithing something on the anvil[/p]
  • [p]Fixed objects blocking the anvil from receiving ingots.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the trash worm not deleting simple items when holding it.[/p]

Windspell in Winter: Massive Magical Updates

[p]Mellow season's greetings to all of you amazing Crafters![/p][p]Winter sale is upon us and thus is also an opportunity for a historic low sale price for CraftCraft at a swell -25% off![/p][p]It is finally time for us to release what we have been working so hard on the past 3 months - a true continuation of our vision of CraftCraft. We have added as much content into the post-game Endless Mode as there is in the Story Mode roughly doubling the amount of special quests, complete with ~40 unique, hand-tailored quests featuring both new characters and returning folks alike, with fully voiced dialogue, of course. There are also 4 new Aesthetic tags for you to discover and use in the Endless Mode - Light Magic, Dark Magic, Fire Magic, and Water Magic. These magic tags are part of our efforts to expand our crafting experience into more mystical territory and are a first step into our enchanting plans.[/p][p][/p][p]We've poured a lot of love into these new quests, quite literally! There's also new *romance* sequences, the first of which you can access if you load one of your older savegames at the end of the Story Mode and in the returning character quests in the Endless Mode. So you can keep seeing your favourite people a little while longer ^_^[/p][p][/p][p]In addition, all of the randomly generated character quests in the Endless Mode are also now fully voiced according to their own distinct personality.[/p][p][/p][p]If you're coming back to Windspell from a longer hiatus - worry not, we've got you covered. If you start a new Endless Mode run, you have a short interview process to go through the most meaningful choices you can make in the Story Mode, gearing up your character for all the different interactions we have with those choices right now, and for future updates, too. [/p][p][/p][p]And to top it all off we've added a whole bunch of quality of life, polish and bugfix improvements to the game, hopefully making it all a much smoother and pleasant experience for y'all.[/p][p][/p][p]Some of the fixes:[/p]
  • [p]Improved stability, hopefully eliminating any crashes that may happen when switching between the menu and main game or loading a game[/p]
  • [p]Improved synchronicity of the crafting tracks for the rhythm game[/p]
  • [p]Fixed savegame labelling and made them sorted by date[/p]
  • [p]Improved experience with the Stock sheet so that it's not in the way as much anymore[/p]
  • [p]Improved blueprint assembly logic so that it's more consistent[/p]
  • [p]Improved gluing logic so that it's more consistent[/p]
  • [p]Tavern interactions/dialogues should now also trigger more consistently[/p]
  • [p]Improved stability with drawers[/p]
  • [p]Fixed various text alignment and layout issues[/p]
  • [p]Fixed numerous typos and made text more consistent with the accompanying voiceover[/p]
  • [p]Improved Endless Mode randomly generated quests' difficulty scaling[/p]
  • [p]Improved stability and consistency of the Spyglass lens (if you have any issues with these please let me know!)[/p]
  • [p]Improved audio volume level consistency throughout the entire game[/p]
  • [p]Fixed logic errors in some of the dialogues with some dialogue choices, hopefully making character responeses more consistent[/p]
[p]Finally, I want to extend a big-big thank you to you all, our players, for being patient with us and supporting us with making the game better and better every day. Winter is coming. Soon, our next content update will be ready.

[p]Hi Crafters!

Winter is coming and we wanted to let you know that we will have a content update for you sometime in the coming months! When it will happen, we don't want to promise yet exactly as it might lead to overworking/crunch in case some of us get sick, but be assured it will be sometime this winter!

We are currently working on some free additional content to the main game, including:[/p][p]✧ Another playable race/kin (we are very excited for it).[/p][p]✧ A special mission where you can send a gift for your chosen romanced character. [/p][p]✧ Magic tags tied to scavangables like Light, Dark, Fire and Water magic![/p][p]✧ Fixes and quality of life updates.

°˖✧ AND the biggest part of the update will be an overhaul for what happens after main story end! ✧˖°[/p][p]We listened to the feedback and a lot of you said the game is too short and you wanted some more choice. So we looked at our options as a small team and made a desicion to add more to it in a smarter way than we have thus far.[/p][p]Currently after the credits roll, we have the "storyless endless mode", but we are making another mode that is a mixture of our current endless mode with much more story and actual choices where customers could be asking for you to make a choice for them and that will influence how it turns out for them.
[/p][p]What NOT to expect from the new mode:
x New character art.
x New specific craftables (except for the new magic item system).
x AI generated content, we are heavily against generative AI so you can be sure everything is still handcrafted.[/p][p]
What to expect from the new mode:
✧ Full voice acting for the character creation based characters.
✧ Returning characters!
✧ More sleek story with options to opt in or out of extra background story from characters.
✧ More choices that matter with updates about life from some of the characters.
✧ Crafting items that have enchanted magic qualities to them.
✧ Better feedback to your crafted goods.

So this is what we are busy with right now and you will be hearing again soon from us. Next time hopefully with a finished content update!

Hotfix 1.1.47 - Critical bugfixes!

2 important bugs are being patched on this update:
- Branches will soft lock items rendering them not deliverable.
- Branches on Endless mode cannot be interacted with.
Please reach out if any of these problems persist!

Hotfix 1.1.46 - Faster workshop!

Hi Crafters!

We have some fixes done again and we are working on a bigger Winter Content Update which we will be trying to finish before end of the year as well! If nobody in our small team gets sick along the way, we will be able to make it! We will let you know very soon about more free content updates!

- Fixed glue spawning on objects that are on top of each other.

- Fixed talisman blueprint texture not fitting inside the Almanac.
- Fixed some quest texts not fitting inside the objective list.
- Fixed some UI controls not properly centered on character customization.
- Fixed a drawer bug where both drawers were being scrolled.
