December 1914 is a comic-style, narrative-driven game based on the Christmas Eve Truce of World War I. The player takes on the role of a soldier who has left his family to fight on the front lines and experience the events of December 1914. The game features four missions, each of which immerses the player in the traumatic experiences faced by soldiers, such as killing enemy soldiers, delivering supplies, defending positions, and executing prisoners of war.

The game has a unique feature called sanity value, which changes based on the player's actions. When the sanity value becomes too low, the player's perception of the world changes - colors fade and things become distorted. However, receiving a few supplies at night and thoughts of loved ones can help restore the player's sanity.

On December 7, 1914, the Pope proposed a ceasefire for Christmas, but the proposal was rejected by the officials of the warring countries. However, on Christmas Eve, a miracle occurred, starting with a few brave soldiers...

December 1914 features a single ending and is available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Ukrainian, and Russian. The December 1914 Steam page is now live, and the game is set to be released on February 24, 2023 11:00 AM CST.
