The Founders

Our heart beats increase! Memoriapolis will be available in early access on August 29, 2024.

Whether you are an early builder or a newcomer, we are building this adventure together.

Your enthusiasm and feedback during playtests help us improve and enrich the gaming experience we propose.
We are deeply grateful for every wishlist addition, every comment, and every share.

Builders, history enthusiasts, playtesters, curious minds, gamers...
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your trust and support. We can't wait to share the next steps of this adventure with you.

That’s why we wanted to offer you an exclusive building.

Nacha and Riwal, our two artists, put their heads together, and although Riwal thought a unicorn statue would please everyone, they decided to work together to create the "Statue of the Founder’s."

This statue honors the founders of your city. The residents will love living nearby to admire two of the city's most illustrious figures.

By supporting us and purchasing Memoriapolis during early access, you will exclusively receive the "Statue of the Founder’s," which will not be available in the final version of the game.

See you soon, builders!

Service Buildings

We’ve already spoken about Culture Buildings but Service buildings are surely the most important buildings in your city.

  • They have a weak attraction but grant a lot of satisfaction!
  • Unlike cultural buildings, they do not degrade during age changes, even if they cannot be evolved, nor unlocked and built outside their historical period.

As soon as their construction is complete, they provide access to numerous game mechanics, depending on their culture.

All these mechanics will evolve over the course of the city's history:
  • The production service building is linked to the storage and management of resources.
  • The Horreum (antiquity) provides a large storage capacity.
  • The military service building is in charge of protecting the city, anticipating events and carrying out attacks.
  • The Belfry (middle-ages) allows you to use army points to increase the city’s defenses.
  • The religious service building is in charge of housing managemen.
  • The Master builder’s office (middle-ages) allows you to modify the urban planning rules neighborgoods and integrate the wanderers.
  • The education service building manages all the know-how learned in the ages.
  • The Library (middle-ages) is the right place for your knowledge!
  • The commercial service building is authorized to sell and buy various goods.
  • Thanks to the Macellum (antiquity) you will be able to open trade routes in order to exchange resources with other cities.
  • The politics service building allows you to pass decrees in your city.
  • Don’t neglect the Senatus (antiquity)!

New strategy game Memoriapolis is perfect mix of Cities and Civ

Somewhere between Manor Lords, Civilization 6, and Cities Skylines 2, there lies the perfect hybrid strategy game. You want the sweeping history - the multiple eras - but also the small-scale and people management. Carefully planning every aspect of urban development is compelling, but it adds an extra wrinkle if your city grows organically, and has a personality independent of your decisions. After some promising early footage, a new medieval strategy and city-building game is finally hitting Steam Early Access. Somewhere between the Colossal Order, Firaxis, and Slavic Magic trinity, there sits Memoriapolis.

The bigger the better!

Do you know what we like about Memoriapolis? Seeing the Wonders blooming around your city!

Wonders radiate and showcase your wealth and power throughout the ages, but their construction costs are high! So be careful with your resources because you will have to construct several Wonders throughout the ages.

Wonders have significant advantages:
  • Lots of attraction,
  • Cultural influence on adjacent neighborhoods,
  • Boost of the satisfactions and more!

But that’s not all! Wonders are prestigious buildings with their own special effects. They also function as cultural buildings and offer a security area around them. They can only be built during the corresponding age (no Circus Maximus in the Middle Ages of course ːsteamhappyː.

Wonders are not damaged when transitioning from one age to another and their construction time does not end when an age ends.
At the end of each age, the player’s family offers to pick up the plan of a Wonder free of charge… Choose carefully the building not chosen won’t no longer be unlocked during the game!

To name just a few, you can construct:
  • The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus or the Circus Maximus in Antiquity,
  • Notre-Dame de Paris or the Charles Bridge in the Middle Ages,
  • The Château de Chenonceau or Doge's Palace in the Renaissance,
  • … and for the Age of Enlightenment... patience, we can't reveal everything yet!
