We're calling on our Agents for the Steam Awards!

[p]Agents! It's Steam awards season and we'd love your support! We think that Neon Abyss 2 fits into a couple of categories, but we decided that the "Best Game You Suck At" was a bit mean for the Agents who've supported us so well throughout Early Access.[/p][p]Instead, we'd love your nominations and support for the Better With Friends category. The multiplayer aspect was one which was key to the foundations of our upgraded Abyss, and we hope it shows.[/p][p]Since our Early Access launch, we've been listening to the community feedback, and working hard to make the Abyss a prime place for multiplayer chaos. [h2]Co-op Item Sharing[/h2][p]To enhance the multiplayer experience, we've optimized loot and item distribution mechanics.[/p][p]All drops are automatically assigned to players to prevent malicious sniping. Meanwhile, players can voluntarily share their loot with teammates, achieving a balance between fair distribution and free exchange.[/p][p]Specific rules:[/p]
  • [p]Upon generation, drops can only be collected by their original owner[/p]
  • [p]Common drops (Coins, Bombs, Keys, etc.) become collectable after a set duration[/p]
  • [p]Special drops like Artifacts remain exclusive until manually shared[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Visual Clutter Optimization[/h2][p]To address potential visual chaos during combat, we've overhauled all attack effects and follower visuals.
