Amid Fallout TV show fever, Nexus Mods says it's been dishing out as much data as downloading Skyrim "twice per second" would involve

While Fallout 4's next-gen update hasn't even dropped yet, Amazon's Fallout TV show has already been driving droves of players back to the series. Naturally, a lot these returning wastelanders have been grabbing mods to spice up their experiences - about two Skyrim's per second worth, actually.

Yup, as they fill the void of not having a second season to immediately binge - though one is very much on the way - people have been busy downloading plenty of overhauls, weapons, and even Walton Goggins billboards.

As outlined in a new post by community manager Demorphic, modding site Nexus Mods has basically been struggling to keep up with that demand for the past little bit.

Wahey, Amazon's Fallout TV show season two is now officially confirmed, just in case there was any doubt

You there! Stop playing through through Fallout 4 again! Amazon's Fallout TV show is now officially confirmed to be getting a second season, as pretty much all of us had hoped following the stellar reaction to its debut series.

Yup, after increasing everyone's appreciation for Walton Goggins and Ella Purnell's ability to say 'okey dokey' in about fifteen different tones, as well as providing loads of fun little references and easter eggs to dissect, the show's set to continue. To be fair - spoilers - you probably guessed that it would likely be doing so when you saw how it ended.

A tweet from the show's official account first revealed this good news, slap bang in the middle on the night UK time. "Wouldn't want to keep you on the edge of your seat, now, would we?", the slightly sarky post read, "See you back in the Wasteland for SEASON 2."

Mega spoiler warning, Amazon's Fallout TV Show rather unsubtly teases a potential setting for season two

Warning: Major spoilers for the first series of Amazon's Fallout TV Show lie ahead.

Ok, so, Amazon's Fallout TV Show is finally here, having dropped either on the evening on April 10, or in the middle of the night early on April 11, depending on where you live. Since all of the episodes dropped at once, as modern series are often wont to do, some people have naturally binged all the way through it, or at least a good way through it.

As those who've made it all the way through to the finale, likely with bags under their eyes, have discovered, the show ends with a bit of set up for a potential season two, with a certain location being the big thing that you'll probably get pretty excited about.

Here's the first clip from the Fallout TV Show, featuring a jetpack landing that looks, er, a bit goofy

Would you look at that? Here’s another sneaky look at the kind of thing we can expect to see when we all sit down to watch the Fallout TV show next month. This time it’s the first clip that Amazon’s put out, and there’s a bit with a jetpack that’s definitely not a tad on the goofy side.

Yup, forget about highly-edited trailers, like the one we got recently, this is the first straight-up scene from the show we’ve gotten, and it features a showdown between some of the main characters. Does it look good? I’d say so, even if the Brotherhood of Steel member’s entrance is arguably a bit hilarious.

As you can see below, the one minute and 30 second-ish snippet Amazon’s shared kicks of with the vault dweller, Ella Purnell’s Lucy, trying in very polite fashion to stop The Ghoul - played by Walton Goggins - from continuing to do nasty things to some residents of one of those typical wasteland shanty towns that we all know and love. Sadly, because she’s, you know, a vault dweller, and therefore has the survival instincts of a particularly naive puppy, she delivers a speech right out of the Vault-Tec handbook on wasteland relations.
