Patch 1.0.2

Good day Heroes!

Today, we have a brand new patch for Forgotten Mines, bringing some much-neede bug fixing!
  • Hero can no longer be revived because of perks with passive regeneration causing softlock.
  • If you change equipped item while one of your character is on an item on the ground, the unequipped item will no longer be lost.
  • Fixed hero keeping bonus HP from leveling up after restarting battle.
  • Fixed some text going out of bounds in some languages.
  • Some adjustments have been made to the reroll button. The button should no longer disappear after too many rerolls. Persk should no longer reroll in the same two perks. If there is only two possible perks, the button will no longer be displayed.
  • Controller: Fixed a bug that duplicated items when equipping them.
  • Controller : A feedback has been added to the "diamond to gold button" in the guild screen to show the player the button is selected.
  • Fixed Vsync to no longer be turned on after restarting the game.


We're still working on fixing other reported bugs, one of the most urgent ones is the issue where players sometimes lose their equipments after restarting the battle.

Patch 1.0.1

Good day Heroes!

As said in the last blogpost, I've come bearing a patch update to fix most reported bugs, which are:
  • Fixed all restart battle bugs
  • Fixed resurrection bugs
  • Fixed bug that makes enemies act on positioning phase, when restarted battle
  • Fixed bug that crashed the game with the directional pad down on the controller during the positioning phase
  • Fixed next level xp restart bug
  • Fixed bug that prevented windowed mode
  • Reworked save system to prevent save file corruption; if there is still corruption, the player receives all the gems from the corrupted run and can start a new one
  • Improvement in the tile selection UI
  • Improvement in the AI โ€‹โ€‹of enemies with SMART and SILLY behavior
  • Fixed druid that sometimes entered combat out of AP
  • Fixed some translation issues in different languages
  • Fixed a bug with Eathquake that sometimes killed an ally

Now go enjoy your (hopefully) bugless run, and keep sharing your feedback and issues; I'll do my best to fix them!

Post release bug fixing is on the way

Hello Heroes!

It's such a pleasure to write this blogpost as Forgotten Mines released exactly one week ago and you've welcomed it the best way possible. I'm incredibly grateful for your positive reviews and precious feedback!

Talking about feedback, I've been actively working on fixing the bugs you've reported and rest assured, those nasty bugs will be fixed in no time (well, give me a few days). As for the Steam Deck players, I understand your concerns and apologize for the issues you're experiencing. I'm working on a solution, but it will require a bit more time. Thank you for your patience.

Anyway, as a solo dev, your support means the world and I want to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone. You're helping me shape the best version of Forgotten Mines.
