Ancient Kingdoms Update 0.6.26.0 - The Backpack Update

[h2]⚖️ Balance Changes[/h2]
  • Druid Balance:
    • Slightly reduced cooldown of direct healing skills.
    • Increased HP healed by Radiant Spring and raised its mana cost.
    • Extended duration for debuff Balance of Illithor.
  • Cleric Balance:
    • Increased HP healed by Healing skill.
    • Increased HP healed by Bastion of Health and raised its mana cost.
  • Warrior Balance:
    • Decreased cooldown for Avatar of War and increased rage cost.
    • Slam now knocks back enemies instead of stunning.
    • Warrior Mercenary: Increased rage cost for Battle Shout.
  • Ranger Mercenary: Gained Spirit of Wolf for enhanced mobility. 🐺
  • Potions:
    • Superior Potion of Mana: Increased mana restored to 1,250 points.
    • Superior Potion of Rage: Increased rage restored to 1,250 points.
    • Increased cooldown of mana and rage potions from 30s to 40s. ⏳
  • Stun chance while moving now scales with difference level.
  • Increased normal XP earned from professions: herbalism, alchemy, mining, crafting, cooking, radiant seeker, etc. 📈
  • Some mobs can now knock back players for tactical challenges.

  • Fixed pivot point for some mushrooms to improve visuals. 🍄
  • Corrected bug with prison guards causing trains of Ember Liches.
  • Fixed mercenaries recruiter stating incorrect required level to hire.
  • Resolved issue with mercenaries and Veteran Level progression.
  • Improved readability of character names for clarity.
  • Fixed bugs related to the number of mercenaries you can spawn.
  • Corrected Trolls Cave Map issues.
  • Fixed mobs not switching targets properly while moving.
  • Adjusted recommended level for quest Shadows of the Earth.
  • Tarnished Crown of King Vaeril is no longer sellable to prevent main quest issues.


[h2]🔧 Gameplay Improvements[/h2]
  • Bosses’ special skills are now less predictable for dynamic encounters. 😈
  • Guild’s Adventurer Emblems are no longer Unique, and the merchant now offers x5 emblems per rune. 💰
  • Healing skills targeting a monster will now also heal the monster’s target (including mercenaries).
  • Mercenaries no longer spawn automatically on login; use Call of the Heroes or visit a Tavern to summon them. 🏰
  • Updated Gauntlets of Command and Grasp of Dominion for enhanced performance.

  • Introducing the Ember Weaver, a new NPC in Milldenn offering exclusive skins!
  • High-end bosses now drop Soul Embers!
  • Use Wardrobes in your house to equip or remove skins effortlessly.
  • Adjust screen resolution in settings, ideal for windowed mode.
  • New Elixir of Restoration potion heals mercenaries for 1,250 HP (15s cooldown).
  • New Veteran Skills: Gouge (Rogue) and Battlehoned Accuracy (General).
  • Winterforge Update: Progress now at 80%!

  • Druid:
    • Flourishment: Improved mana regeneration.
    • Verdant Renewal (Merc): Reduced healing regeneration.
  • Ranger:
    • Nature's Call: Increased mana cost.
  • Wizard Mercenary:
    • Flame Blast: Decreased mana cost.
  • Warrior & Rogue Mercenaries:
    • Now use a rage system similar to players.
  • General:
    • Spirit of Wolf: Duration increased to 15 minutes.
    • Vowkeeper's Staff: Reduced spell power (was higher than intended).
    • Increased healing bonus cap.
    • Adjusted Arcane Resolution and Master of Arms bonuses by level.
  • Mercenary Healing:
    • Scroll of Restoration: Heals 20,000 HP (120s cooldown).
    • Battlefield Restoration: Heals all mercenaries for 5,000 HP and restores 3,250 Resource Points (60s cooldown).
    • Elixir of Restoration: Heals 1,250 HP (15s cooldown).

[h3]⚔️ Pet & NPC Behavior[/h3]
  • Pets now run away from area effects but won't move toward the player.
  • Nyxarion & Formidrax: Increased follow distance to reduce accidental fight resets.
  • Nyxarion: Slightly improved stats.
  • Aggro Area no longer affects NPCs to prevent unwanted interactions.

[h3]📝 Quality of Life & Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Materials like Ethereal Hide, Essence of Pure Fire, Ancient Cyclops Bones, Black Dragon Scales, and Savage Blood are now unique and non-tradable.
  • Reduced Adventurer Level required for Augments (Tier 1) and Radiant Emblems.
  • Chest of Lost Adventurers now requires 5% Adventurer Level.
  • Added protection to prevent launching multiple game instances from the same folder, safeguarding save data.
  • Wardrobe price increased to 12,000 gp.
  • Blazewalker Boots typo fixed, with adjusted stats.

  • Improved windowed mode: The game no longer forces fullscreen.
  • Fixed a bug where bags didn’t save their last position correctly.
  • Enhanced Skills window UI with new tabs for Veteran Skills and Professions.
  • Fixed a bug affecting dungeon resets.

[h2]⚔️ Mercenary System[/h2]
  • Warrior mercenaries no longer attempt to escape area effects unless in Defensive Stance.
  • Mercenary prices are now more linear and cheaper for most levels.
  • You can now hire one mercenary at level 10.
  • All mercenaries gain increased AC/MR/PR per Veteran level.
  • Warrior Mercenary: Increased AC/MR/PR scaling by level.

[h2]🏰 Adventurer’s Guild[/h2]
  • Reduced cost of Adventurer’s Guild chests and emblems.
  • Radiant Emblem can now cleanse your target (cooldown reduced to 10 seconds).
  • Decreased materials needed for gathering or mining in Guild quests.
  • You can now complete all Adventurer’s Guild quests daily as desired.
  • New Tier 2 augments are now available from Adventurer’s Guild Chests.
  • Skins are now obtainable from Faction Vendors.

  • Druid:
    • Improved scaling of "Thornspikes" with WIS.
    • "Flourishment" is now a base skill; "Purify" is a new ultimate skill (requires skill reset).
    • New Veteran Skill: "Poison Spray" added for Druids.
    • Increased buff duration to "Swiftness".
  • Cleric:
    • "Pacify" damage reduction lowered from 25% to 20%.
    • "Cleanse" cooldown reduced to 5 seconds.
  • Decreased scaling of AC buffs with WIS.
  • Improved scaling of Damage-over-Time (DoT) effects with INT.

  • Path of Scales: Now removes items upon completion.
