Monster Hunter Wilds already has a Rathalos-sized discount

I love the series, so it's no surprise that Capcom's Monster Hunter Wilds has already secured a spot as one of my favorite games of this year. Whether I'm planning to craft an armor set to survive battles against a Rathian, or purge the ugliest monster from the earth (Rompopolo, I'm looking at you), Monster Hunter Wilds ends up making me feel genuinely awesome during every session. While many complain of a lack of endgame content in Monster Hunter Wilds, the speed hunt community has emerged, taking down difficult hunts in a minute or two

Monster Hunter Wilds has been out for a little while now, and as such, many players who have sunk unhealthy numbers into the game are running out of things to do. Totally normal! You can't drop 100+ hours of your week into anything without it getting a bit drab. However, rather than fishing or complaining on Reddit, a select few have created new goals to strive towards: Solo speed hunts.

Monster Hunter WIlds has cast off more than a few of its shackles to become the most streamlined experience the series has seen, for better or worse. It's got its downsides, as Lincoln noted in his Monster Hunter Wilds review: "It can feel like a wonder, but it's not a wonder without a cost. In providing as much monster hunting as possible, Wilds has given up some of Monster Hunter's charms."..

Gemma's English VA is right with us on Monster Hunter Wild's confusing menus, which makes me feel a little better for having to Google symbols all the time

The latest Monster Hunter Wilds event quest gives piles of Armor Spheres for hunting a Chatacabra, making this a very bad week to be a frog in the Forbidden Lands

Chatacabra have been having a hard month. The giant frog creature is the very first monster players face in the introductory quest of Monster Hunter Wilds, meaning the unfortunate amphibians have been assailed by as many as 8 million hunters since February 28. If that extinction-level event wasn't bad enough, the newest Wilds event quest gives players who might've moved on to mightier prey a very good reason to set their sights on the Chatacabra once more: farmable Armor Spheres...
