Monster Hunter Wilds Light Bowgun - moveset and how to use

How do you use the Monster Hunter Wilds Light Bowgun? The Light Bowgun is one of the best beginner friendly weapons in the game, and though it comes with a few tweaks and changes from previous iterations of the weapon, it largely plays the same.


The Monster Hunter Wilds Light Bowgun is, as you guessed it, a lighter version of the Heavy Bowgun, and unlike the normal MHW Bow, you'll need to craft elemental ammo to use it, though normal, piercing, and spread ammo are unlimited. It's a much nimbler alternative to the Heavy Bowgun and has a few moves that allow you to move around while shooting and quickly dodge out of the way, but keep the pressure on enemies.
