The Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark is here, and it already has 30,000 users

The Monster Hunter Wilds PC version is set to launch at the same time as its console counterparts, meaning we won't be stuck waiting as with past entries World and Rise. However, the recent beta test left many with concerns over the potential performance of the game. Many players found themselves unable to run the new RPG at an acceptable frame rate or encountered bizarre, low-poly monster models. Fortunately, as the second beta closes in, you can download a Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark tool right now, free on Steam, to see whether your machine is ready for the full game.
Monster Hunter Wilds' Second Open Beta Test will feature the game's flagship monster Arkveld!
As with the first OBT held in November last year, the second OBT will include Character Creation, the Story Trial, and the Doshaguma Hunt. After completing the Doshaguma Hunt, you'll also be able to explore the Windward Plains and encounter the various creatures that inhabit its ecosystem.
Unique to the OBT2, hunters will now be able to take on a monster well-known throughout the series, the bird wyvern Gypceros. You'll also be able to take on the game's flagship monster Arkveld in a high difficulty quest specially tailored for the OBT2. We encourage experienced hunters who are confident in their skills to take on this challenge.

Try out each weapon and get a feel for the various weapon actions in the Training Area. However, please be aware that some weapon specifications will differ from the retail version.

The Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark is here, and my poor RTX 3070 is now crying sub-60 fps tears

Is there a PC gaming experience more universal than poking at graphics settings one at a time, dropping anisotropic filtering and rendering distance from high, to medium, to low, in the forlorn hope of seeing the framerate counter inch over the 60 fps line?
