A new Monster Hunter Wilds open beta is coming soon, with a fan-favorite enemy

It's our lucky day, because Capcom is offering us another chance to play the Monster Hunter Wilds beta ahead of the imminent launch. So if you missed the first beta, or just fancy taking even more of the many weapons for a spin, this will be your last chance ahead of release. This next beta has a new monster, rewards for the full game, and more to sink your teeth into, so it's worth returning to Wilds if you also tried it in 2024.

For all of you who missed the Open Beta Test in November 2024, or for those who want to play it again, we've decided to hold a second Open Beta Test before the game's official launch on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Saved data from the previous Open Beta Test, including character creation data and more, can be carried over to the second Open Beta Test.

The second Open Beta Test will feature the same content as the first, with the addition of a trial Gypceros hunt.

Free hardware benchmark tool release under consideration

We saw that some of you were concerned as to whether your rig would be powerful enough to run Monster Hunter Wilds when it launches, so we are currently considering releasing a benchmark tool to hopefully help those of you with questions out. We'll keep you looped in on any further details here.
