Potions: All you need to know to brew your perfect elixir!

[p][/p][p]Hey Explorers,[/p][p]We know you’re curious about specific effects of some of our potions, so we want to showcase a few of them today. Let’s focus on Tireless Spirit, Last Chance, Jump Booster and Windborne—each offering distinct advantages in exploration and combat. Here’s an in‑depth look at how they work and why you’ll want to brew them.[/p][p][/p]
Tireless Spirit
[p] Tireless Spirit dramatically reduces or even halts stamina consumption for its duration. On a Tier I table, the potion reduces stamina drain by 25% for 30 seconds, allowing for longer sprints or more evasive maneuvers. Upgrading to Tier II doubles that effect—50% reduction for 30 seconds—while a Tier III brew freezes your stamina meter entirely for 20 seconds. This effect is ideal for extended pursuits, scaling difficult terrain without pause, or maintaining offensive pressure in boss encounters.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p][p][/p]
Last Chance
[p] Designed as a safeguard against fatal blows, Last Chance ensures that a potion user survives what would otherwise be a killing strike. A Tier I concoction grants one free revival (lasting up to one minute or until triggered). Tier II not only prevents death but also restores 10% of your maximum health upon activation, and Tier III restores a significant 25%. This effect is invaluable when facing unpredictable enemy onslaughts or taking on powerful foes whose critical strikes could prove lethal.[/p][p][/p]

Early tiers help reach moderately high ledges; at Tier III, you can clear vast chasms, discover hidden platforms, and perform advanced aerial maneuvers. Anyone who enjoys traversal challenges or treasure hunting in vertical dungeon spaces will find this effect indispensable.[/p][p][/p]

Alchemy 101

[p]Hey Explorers,[/p][p]Let us talk about the Alchemy system today. It will allow you to create custom potions by combining rare ingredients and a single “Magical Fluid” at an Alchemical Table. Here’s everything you need to know to start brewing powerful elixirs:[/p][p]Three Tiers of Alchemical Tables
Alchemy begins at the crafting bench—specifically, the Alchemical Table. There are three tiers of this workstation, each distinguished by its ingredient‐slot capacity:[/p]
 • [p]Basic Table (Tier I): 3 ingredient slots[/p]
 • [p]Advanced Table (Tier II): 4 ingredient slots[/p]
 • [p]Master Table (Tier III): 5 ingredient slots [/p]
[p]While all three tables have a distinct look, their real difference lies in how many components you can add at once: the more slots you have, the more potent your potions can become.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
How to Craft a Potion
[p]To create any potion, you must place—side by side—the following items into an Alchemical Table:[/p]
 1. [p]Magical Fluid (a single, specific item required for every recipe)[/p]
 2. [p]At least three unique ingredients that share one identical magical effect[/p]
[p]Once you’ve slotted in the Magical Fluid, you begin adding ingredients. Each ingredient has “magic tags” (for example: Strength, Healing, Stamina, Agility, etc.). The rule is simple: you need a minimum of three distinct items that all share at least one common tag in order to produce a base‐level potion of that effect.[/p]
 • [p]Example: If you place Ingredient A, Ingredient B, and Ingredient C—each tagged with “Strength”—you will brew a Level 1 Strength Potion (alongside the required Magical Fluid).[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][p]You cannot reuse the same ingredient in multiple slots; each component must be unique.[/p]
Upgrading Potion Levels
[p]The tier of your Alchemical Table directly influences how many ingredients you can insert, which in turn determines potion potency:[/p]
 • [p]Level 1 (Tier I Table): 3 matching‐effect ingredients → Level 1 Potion[/p]
 • [p]Level 2 (Tier II Table): 4 matching‐effect ingredients → Level 2 Potion[/p]
 • [p]Level 3 (Tier III Table): 5 matching‐effect ingredients → Level 3 Potion [/p]
[p]In other words, with a Master Alchemical Table (5 slots), you can brew up to a Level 3 potion of any single effect—so long as you supply five distinct ingredients all sharing that effect alongside the Magical Fluid. Stay tuned to learn more about specific potion effects - we will be revealing some of them soon![/p][p][/p][p] [/p]
Brewing Multi‐Effect Potions
[p]One of the most exciting features is the ability to create potions that grant multiple effects—provided you can find enough ingredients to satisfy more than one triple. Here’s how it works:[/p]
 1. [p]Identify multiple “common triples” among your ingredients.[/p]
 2. [p]Each set of three items sharing the same effect will add that effect to the final potion.[/p]
[p]For example, imagine you slot in five distinct ingredients plus the Magical Fluid:[/p]
 • [p]Ingredient 1: Strength + Healing[/p]
 • [p]Ingredient 2: Strength + Healing[/p]
 • [p]Ingredient 3: Strength + Stamina[/p]
 • [p]Ingredient 4: Strength + Healing[/p]
 • [p]Ingredient 5: Strength + Stamina [/p]
[p]Breaking down the overlaps:[/p]
 • [p]Strength appears on all five ingredients (≥ 3), so you qualify for a Level 3 Strength effect (because you used five Strength‐tagged items on a 5‐slot table).[/p]
 • [p]Healing appears on three ingredients (Ingredients 1, 2, 4). That triple unlocks Healing, but only at Level 1—because exactly three of your inputs have the Healing tag.[/p]
 • [p]Stamina appears on two ingredients (Ingredients 3, 5), which is insufficient to meet the “three‐of‐a‐kind” requirement, so no Stamina effect is produced.[/p]
[p]The result? A Potion of Strength (Level 3) with a secondary Healing effect (Level 1).[/p][p]If you had enough ingredients to form other triplets (e.g., three ingredients all tagged with “Agility”), that effect would be added as well. But any effect must appear on at least three different ingredients to take hold.[/p]
Steps to Brew Your First Elixir
1. [p]Acquire a Magical Fluid: This item is crafted from Magic Fruit, which can be found or grown on your farm.[/p]
 2. [p]Gather Unique Ingredients: Scour dungeons and the overworld for materials that share the same magic tag (e.g., Strength herbs, Healing moss, etc.).[/p]
 3. [p]Choose Your Alchemical Table: If possible, upgrade from Basic to Master for more slots—and thus more potent potions.[/p]
 4. [p]Insert Items: Add your ingredients (minimum of three matching). Magical Fluid will be consumed automatically.[/p]
 5. [p]Click “Craft”: A short animation and progress bar will play; in a few moments, your potion appears in the output slot.[/p]
[p] [/p]
Why You’ll Love Everwind’s Alchemy
• [p]Endless Customization: Experiment with dozens of different ingredient combinations to discover rare multi‐effect elixirs.[/p]
 • [p]Scaling Power: As you upgrade your table and gather rarer ingredients, expect to brew Level 2 and Level 3 potions that rival the best gear buffs.[/p]
 • [p]Strategic Depth: Choosing which three‐of‐a‐kind (or more) effects to pursue adds a layer of decision‐making—especially in tight combat scenarios or challenging boss fights.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Whether you’re a battle-hardened Warrior looking to push your Strength potions to the max, or a support-oriented Arcanist prioritizing Healing and Stamina boosts, Everwind’s Alchemy will offer a robust, flexible system that rewards exploration, experimentation, and strategy.[/p][p][/p][p]Join our discord if you want to connect with us and our amazing community and discuss more topics: Or any other of our social media platforms: [/p][p]

Early-game companion: the Boat.

Hello Explorers!
We’re doing something different today - instead of showcasing mid or late game, we will tell you about your soon-to-be favourite early-game companion: the Boat.
🎯 Purpose and Role of the Boat
The Boat is your basic early-game water transport. It lets you quickly travel between nearby islands. It serves as a gateway to further exploration, as you will need to use it to obtain the right materials before unlocking your flying ship. Your Boat will offer a faster, more enjoyable early-game experience, as opposed to slowly swimming between islands yourself. However, if you choose the latter, be aware that there is no diving in the game, so going under the water is a one way trip!
🔧 How It Works
To set sail, you’ll need to gather the basic materials—sturdy planks of wood, rope, and nails—before assembling your boat at a crafting station. There are no complex sailing mechanics involved in sailing your Boat - simply choose a direction and speed and enjoy the ride. You don’t have to wrestle with complicated sails or rigging; instead, your focus remains on the horizon and the beckoning silhouettes of distant isles. Once you’re confident at sea, you can acquire your flying ship and soar into the skies.

Let us know if you’re looking forward to some boating!

And don't forget our Kickstarter campaign is ending soon, so if you wish to be among the last backers to support us and get your hands on some unique rewards, now is the time:
