Demo Update Patch Notes

Thank you all for playing Mind Diver!

After hearing your feedback and bug reports, we have rolled out a patch which fixes several bugs that were affecting the playability of the game.

Improved swimming
  • More fine-grained control to better be able to adjust course. Especially useful when having to go through narrow passageways.
  • Reworked the boost system so that the player no longer has to time it correctly. The boost now simply charges up and can be used at any time. There is no "penalty" for missing a timing.
  • Larger floor colliders on memories, so that players do not fall down when leaving a memory.
Bug Fixes / Changes
  • Coloured subtitles to help with distinguishing characters speaking. Also in transcripts to make the reading experience of transcripts more clear.
  • Improved environmental guidance towards "The Day After" from "Party: Welcome", and hid the party memories when players are outside to avoid misleading.
  • Fixed an issue with not being able to select a transcript if the echo is currently playing.
  • Fixed the echo highlight effect sometimes not appearing.
  • Optimization, especially for faster loading times.
  • Audio for listening part of the multitool changed to be more discreet.
  • Adjustments to make the arms/tools switching avoid overlapping to avoid having three arms.
  • Various minor fixes to colliders.
  • Replaced the survey button with a Discord button to capture more feedback from Steam Next Fest.

We truly appreciate everyone's support and we hear all of your feedback! We are currently working closely with the developer to try and squash more bugs and implement more QoL features! Stay tuned for more updates!
