Endless Monday: Dreams and Deadlines News

The Steam Spring Sale is under way, and Endless Monday: Dreams and Deadlines is on sale, as usual! But this time we also have two more languages available! 简体中文 and Português-Brasil, in addition to the previously released 日本語 and 한국어 localizations!



Steam Spring Sale is the best time to play games in a new language and buy Endless Monday: Dreams and Deadlines, after all. As they say.

As for what's next, now that these are finally done after months of hard work, I'll be going back to work on the next story update for the game. I still don't have a good time for when it'll be out - localizing it will also add some time, and I'll be juggling a few other responsibilities too. But stay tuned. I do care, after all.

Update 1.0.11: More Localizations:

• New! You can now play the game in 简体中文 and Português-Brasil! You can select the desired language from the language selection menu on the title screen.
  
• Not new, but 日本語 and 한국어 localizations are available too!
  
• Fixed! Linux build achievements should work again.
  

Hotfix 1.0.11a ("publicbeta" branch only):

• Refactored UI animation code which should fix instances of weird slowdowns when opening phone, choice menus, or various other settings screens
  
• Fixed a missing S.Chinese font glyph in a particular cutscene
  

Update 2024-03-31: 1.0.11a may have introduced a rare crash bug, so the live build has been rolled back to 1.0.11. If you are affected by the issues fixed in 1.0.11a, you can still play the new build on the "publicbeta" beta branch. If you encounter any crash bugs, please let me know with details (including OS and language) at [email protected]. Thank you!

Update 1.0.10:

• New! You can now play the game in 한국어! You can select the language from the language selection menu on the title screen.
  
• We're finishing up 简体中文 and Português-Brasil localizations, and they should be ready to play very soon. Please stay tuned for more updates in the next few weeks!
  
• Right-click no longer brings up settings menu. You can still use the displayed hotkeys to access.
  
• Lots of small fixes and behind-the-scenes updates/improvements in preparation for future update.

What a year. Thank you, thank you! Well, 2023 is over, and it's the first Monday of 2024. Maybe you made some meaningful New Year's resolutions? I hope you can achieve all of your goals this year!



I've been hard at work on what's next for Endless Monday. A bonus story update for Endless Monday: Dreams and Deadlines! I'm not quite ready to promise anything because I'm juggling a few other responsibilities, but I'm trying to get it released by summer this year. It'll be a free update! Tell your friends. And buy the sequel.



I'm also hoping to make the game available to more players around the world! Currently there are translations in progress for a few new languages. I'll have more to share once the work is closer to being finished.

After the bonus story chapter is done, I'm going to work full time on the next game in the Endless Monday Video Game Universe. I've been prototyping a few ideas, and maybe I'll have something to announce in the second half of 2024. Here's hoping. I'll be broadcasting it out on all my socials when that happens, so you can follow me at any of the links at endlessmonday.com if you want to stay tuned.

Anyway, it's been awesome being able to just make a game I wanted to make, and having so many people like it and resonate with it. I just wanted to thank you all for the love and support throughout 2023. I hope you all have a Happy New Year!
